One has little/no affect on another. Different people build them.

So release the unknown new content please. As the bug of the new build can be fixed anyway!

Now changing the subject, I was looking the gameplays of Asseto Corsa (I liked a lot of Netkar) and what I could notice is that the steering wheel is too static. This is what I like more in rF2. If you look ANY real life camera showing real steering wheel behavior at high speeds it is almost never static. It shakes, vibrates, pushes all the time with more or less intensity.
I like it too much in rF2 I cant stop thinking that this feature could be even more evident. This is straight related to the tire model, right? The more processing power could mean more fast rates of it...

best regards!

Try ForceDynamics 301/401 or simmilar... even with rF1. you will realize how much of this steering wheel movement comes from your hands, not from simulated car

Beer over rF2 yes i can imagine that although i prefer beer with rF2. But Cricket over rF2, c'mon man

I'm a Cricket man :p also theres the Euro2012 as well (also addicted to footy!), busy summer of beer & RF2 in between everything else!!

I know that a lot of times, yes, they are working the wheel quite a bit. But I wonder how much of the movement you're referring to might be from the forces on the driver's arms (shaking from bumps, etc.) rather than feedback through the tires->wheels->suspension->steering.

Euros yes i am beginiing to get hyped now. It's weird i thought this time round. Don't know about you but there hasn't seemed to be as much hype for this Euro. But noticed today alot of coverage on SSN and you can feel it starting to pick up pace. Let's see if Hodgson can actually make them play as a team for once instead of a group of talented individuals

The last one, it's from the road ;)

funnily enough I was chatting to my mate last night about the lack of hype, its as though we're already settled into doing poorly at the tournament so less people are interested...until we race through to the Semis no doubt!
I hope he does well, I like Roy but was disappointed with his squad choice.....Downing!?!? REALLY?!? ;)

The energy from the road imperfections through steering system. I meant, which is already there in rF2 that is so different from other simulators(please Gjon, correct me if I am wrong). I think everybody agrees that rF2 is different/better, right? :)
Just watch one real life steering wheel, then watch any other simulator, and rF2.

As far as I know rF2 does't simulate power steering (which is available for example in iR).
So on wheel you should get raw forces. From simulation point of view it's worse. From driver - it is better because we can feel more.
But you have to remember that a lot forces are dumped by gearing, some forces are transferred onto whole car including drivers (so again lowered)

Wouldn't adjusting the level of FFB sort of double as "simulating" power steering? =)
