A: Change to another beta branch in rFactor 2 properties Q: How do I get to graphics config/devmode on the the current build? A: Press play in Steam and you are presented with this dialog box Q: What if I want to change the gfx config from a windows shortcut? Make sure "Start in" folder is your main rFactor 2 folder. Q: How do I run the game in VR? Do I need to run a different build? A: No... you just need to change it in the gfx config. NOTE: You can run rF2 in VR at any time (even if Steam VR is already started) but make sure the desktop theater option is UNCHECKED in rF2 properties Q: I want to start dev mode from a shortcut, how do I do this? A: Create a shortcut to the "rfactor2 Mod Mode.exe" which exists in the "steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64" folder. Edit the shortcut and make sure the start in folder points to "steamapps\common\rFactor 2\" Q: How do I use the ptool from a shortcut? A: Create a shortcut to the "rfactor2 Mod Mode.exe" which exists in the "steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64" folder. Edit the shortcut, add +ptool after the quotes in the target and make sure the start in folder points to "steamapps\common\rFactor 2\" Q: HELP! Where has my MAS2 tool gone?! A: It hasn't gone anywhere.... it still exists in the same folder it always has. Make a shortcut to it. You don't need to go to the old ui to do this. "rFactor 2\Support\Tools\" Q: Vehicle labels (tab) where are they? A: Not re-implemented yet unfortunately. Q: I can't select from all my cars and tracks?! A: It seems you have a series selected which only shows cars/tracks related to it. You need to change the "series" to "All Tracks and cars". Press "customise" Then click the series name under the word "Single Player" Press "select" on the "All Tracks & Cars" series. It may take a little while depending on how many you have installed. You can change views of this screen by pressing the little icon at the top. Q: Can you view what a HUD looks like in the New UI? A: Not yet, you have to look it up on the workshop. Q: How do I view an overlay of the pedal and wheel inputs as was the default in the old User Interface? It is not currently implemented in this BETA UI.
