Released New!!! Radical SR3 XX 2020

Alot of folks in here have been asking for a comparison between the new SR3 and the old one, and so did i, so seeing as I've got it now I thought do one myself, so anyone still wanting that, here's my take on it. Please excuse the sound and graphics Res, bit I gotta work with the equipment I've got, hope it's useful.

One thing I noticed with the new Radical whilst testing with scripted weather (and I've noticed with other cars to) is that the moment it started raining I lost all tire scrub, skid, lockup sounds, no sound what so ever, not even a change in sound, nadda, and as soon as it stopped raining the sounds came back, even though the track was still soaked. This is a really bad bug! Get a third of my feedback info from sounds! Makes things very difficult, this needs fixing quickly!

In your setup for audio within rF2, how many effects have you got it set to?

Not sure if that's helpful but worth a try.

Can confirm the tire sounds disappearing even on brand new Portland, Silverstone. It's a serious bug with both new and old radical

what a deception, I feel like a kart on the ice, seriously I have the same light FFB like a race with Kartsim pro....What a deception.....Reiza pack car is far far far better than all the s397 cars.....even the new rF2 Ferrari is good, but the FFB from Reiza surclasses s397.

Is it up to me or is there something wrong with the Radical's rain tires? I can hardly keep the vehicle on the track in the rain. I had only half as much problems with the LMP3 at night and rain on Bathurst. Can anybody confirm this?

No feedback from anyone? So is it up to me? The car turns in the rain with rain tires at every opportunity ..

Car is good but definitely could use some improvements.
Firstly is the sound, it is not doing justice to that amazing high revving engine.Better sound is must as this is a paid DLC.
Second small thing is that the display on steering wheel skips number 10 and jumps straight to 11 from 9 i.e after 9k rpm the next one is 11k.

Radical has different minimum tyre pressure for front and rear is that intentional?
If i remember correctly the min on front is 150kpa and rear is 140kpa.
Please take a look at this and the above post i made.

Tires are different, and the final target is to have the same hot pressure. this is achieved with this little difference.
Car handling is quite peculiar , this has a weight too,.. just like weight distribution and aero load, that make the rear very planted and the front very lively.

Aren't the rear tyres wider?
I haven't checked but most probably the answer is yes.
As with any rear heavy cars the tyres on rear are bigger AFAIK but with other rear heavy cars like RSR
the min pressure is same for both front and rear.
The tyres pressure physics seems off to me lowest pressure is still way to go AFAIK. If i'm wrong do let me know.

Feel free to set whatever value you want... what does it matter what another modder choose do to with their work?

i'm curious about is why lateral weight distribution(as written in chassis menu) on new radical is so off balance ?
Its->> (Left) 53.5:46.5 (Right)
Yes i know the driver sits on right hand side BUT isn't this sorted out to get as close to 50:50 laterally (Ofcourse 50:50 is impossible in one sided driver but in-game value of lateral distribution is way off from any other cars i have seen)
Even the wheel loads are way to different from each other.

Also why the front wheel track(width?) is higher in a MID-engine car ?
It is written in chassis menu of setup
Front wheel track->> 151.5 cm
Rear wheel track->> 145.3 cm

To my understanding this should mean more load transfer at rear hence less grip at rear BUT then this car has unseen amount of turning in,coasting understeer.
