New Parameter in Config.ini with Build 998

There seem to be a view new parameters in the config.ini starting with build 998.

UseSubViewParams=1
ViewParams=(0.540, 0.340, 0.600, 15.000, 0.037) // screen width (m), screen height (m), eye distance (m), side angle (deg), bezel gap (m)
LeftView=(0.540, 0.340, 0.600, 15.000, 0.037)
RightView=(0.540, 0.340, 0.600, 15.000, 0.037)

Not sure what exactly they are used for - but the ViewParams sounds to me like being used to calculate base FOV?! Left- and RightView do sound like the parameters for multi-monitor setups?

Does anyone know what these parameters are good for?
