I wonder why a couple of the most active 'debaters' in this thread even bother ? If you don't like the pack, then just ignore and move on ?
I ranted to Tim and Dom last night (in a friendly way!), here's the response:

regarding AI, i hear you, we had permission for som liveries but are still awaiting more
Nice Pack, car models are done very well. unfortunately i am unable to drive for awhile still, but its great to see some quality being released well done!. As stated skins aren't there yet but if there is approval for more then that is good to hear.
my only question is, wasn't the new rain effects with raindrops and wipers suppose to be released along side the GT3 pack?
Its called expressing opinions and feelings. I am disappointed by this first attempt at a DLC - if I dont express that S397 dont get that opinion which is important for them if they want to sell me another DLC sometime.
They're still working on that as it wasn't quite ready for release just yet.
But you have, for days...
So many people bothered with the lack of useless skins, that for sure will come shortly after the GT3 release! Just enjoy the cars, you don't need skins to test the recently released cars, do you want to drive or waste time looking at replays? Damn, looks like pCars fans bought rFactor2...
I really like the mod very happy with it well done
ffb wise feels better than URD EGT
it will def be our next seasons league cars after Decembers last race now
Yep we do all our own custom skins so template file was enough for us
prefer it drives well than loads of fancy skins which it does very nicely
Yes you are right, I wonder why S397 works on a DX11 version.
S397 remove all advanced graphical settings, replays, and suppress this way all reported problems of poor performance.
GT3 are for Pcars drivers, real drivers drive the F1 Marussia 2012 (if you can't drive it just train a little more sissy Pcars drivers), and they are already far more tracks than needed.
So S397 stop here the development, we are happy with DX9, we are real simracers and we'll enjoy the sim as real simracers do, not poor Pcars fans.
Exactly, they're working on more important things, they're developing what matters and wasting their time on that! What i find strange is that people are more worried with a bunch of skins, instead of being happy for rFactor2 to be brought to life again! For sure you're not here from the beggining...
It's quite funny and weird the same time, that only a few days ago people had strongly complained in September roadmap thread, why the GT3 pack isn't released yet, because Studio397 had announced a september release. Now, as the GT3 pack is out, people complain about some "incompleteness".
You can't please everybody.
Whiners gonna whine...
Well, at least you got that one right
They pleased all the people that doesn't spend their days on the forum.
The decision to release the pack was correct IMO. Despite the lack of skins and other performance problems, we now have something to test and give proper feedback. We also have rain tires and softer compounds for MCL!!
Hopefully they will now address these pending problems before jumping to a different car. Meanwhile, they could also fix other issues like Civic medium tires or Radical LH weight distribution.
What we really need is much better performance not more skins.
For a GT3-Pack i would exactly expect that! Equal amount of real life skins with fitting race number`s.
