I don't remember when it happened but I went from being too young to too old but I don't ever remember being just right!

hi guys, i am having fun from months in various championships with this mod but i want to give you a feedback about an aerodinamic bug in the 911r; i apologize if you have discussed already about this

i've noticed that if you have an opponent really close on your rear the car certain times loose completely downforce in the rear wing in some fast corners, happened not only to me in blanchimont and in last race in palm springs when having someone close in the first braking zone was a nightmare for all

what about it?

This happens in real car racing, as when a car comes right up to your rear bumper the air travelling over & pushing your rear wing down just travels over your rear wing and doesn't push it down as much, because this air is now finding its way over the car right behind you. This in turn makes the rear of your car more "lively" because of the lack of downforce the rear wing is able to achieve which is stronger under normal circumstances without a car right behind you, therfore not a bug its just the way downforce works. :)

I've not seen this mentioned anywhere else, if it was a widespread issue and wrong so to speak I think it would've been made known by now. That's not to say there might not be a slight error in the physics of the car, just not one big enough to warrant lots of reports :)

i knew that this could happen in real racing but not as much as i experimented

i thought it was not a real big problem but i didn't live this with other cars of gt3 challengers and endurance pack

i've been in a championship with 911 gte and another with corvette gt3 and never discovered this issue

Got the GT3 Challengers Pack, but don't seem to have the Porsche 911 GT3 R, even if Steam says it's in my inventory. Checked "...Installed/Vehicles" and indeed it isn't there. I "think" I read somewhere about some procedure to correct this? Logged out and in of Steam already.

Soliciting advise on these GT3 cars for the best way to start fast from Standing start, as the engine seems to stall even when giving some revs before the green light.

which car? I think other users were complaining about the BMW's poor starts
Exactly, the M6. Was revving (not full) before start, then switch to 1st when lights turn green, seemed like it stalls and takes time to pickup, so AI leaves me in the dust. :O 720S seems fine.

Are others fine? Will have a go and try the others later.

The M6 seems particularly sluggish. You might want to use a clutch (or keep it in a little longer, if you already are). Bogs down if you drop the clutch even after the initial jump.

For those of us without clutch pedal it is impossible to keep with AI at race start. At least I haven't figured it out.
