In the new post section of the mobile verdion you can only see the author of the thread and not the last poster. Could it be included?
Any chance to make 3 letter words searchable with the search? There are tons of such words (mip bias, fresnel min, fresnel max, ref blend, gen strings, veh files, src blend, dst blend... etc...) that are used in gjed for example that you can not search now because the search wants at least 4 letters.
Another vote for Tapatalk support, please. I understand forums work on mobile, but that's not a solution for tapatalk users. Attachment links were still not working, so I edited some of the links on my posts, re-uploading the files (f.ex. in the DeltaBest thread).
Would it be possible to make the border lines a little darker, hard to tell when a post ends and begins
Indeed. Navigating throughout forums is so much comfortable and faster with Tapatalk. It certainly is a plus in a website to provide Tapatalk support.
True, but with Tap Talk I get instant alerts on my mobile to threads I am subscribed to It's a Xenforo plugin, easy to install, I have it on our forum
Yes, good suggestion, I just changed the search engine parameters to consider words 3 letters or more, and the search index is rebuilding as we speak.
+1 for tapatalk as a suggestion, please put the logo of rf2 as a favicon if you consider it's right do. thanks Marcel for the relief that you have taken
Can we get back the Info of the user's system under his avatar? It was my first go to when discussing problems n stuff. Or if someone post a fluid video or a triple screens setup picture or if whatever,... I used this little button a lot!
Yes, the system-specs. On old ISIforums we had a pull down button on the left under the avatar, the user-name and the joined-date etc. in the threads itself. Not only at the members-page... I managed to recreate a picture of it,..haha
Yes Flaux, I also used that info for reference as well as enjoying/being surprised where all the rF2 family lived. Please consider reinstating this useful function, Marcel.

There has been several requests to reintroduce Tapatalk Support. This is not anything new. It was already available in isiforums. Apparently, it is quite easy to implement. According to our league administrator it is not much different from installing a software. Some posts with info of how to do it have been already been published in this thread. I think that introducing Tapatalk will have no negative effects to those using the website for following the forum activity. Nobody is forced to use it. The opposite cannot be said. We have already been invited to check how nice and useful the website is. I still would stick to Tapatalk if available. It should be clear that total compatibility with Tapatalk is not requested. Some functions may not work as expected. This has also been the case so far. For example inquiries never worked. Some icons may not be recognized. Considering all this I cannot see a single reason why such an apparently simple and easy to implement request is not attended. What I dont think is right is the absolute silence of the staff about it, after several users asking for it. Do we need to get a certain number of users before we deserve a response? Thanks for providing to this topic the importance it deserves.
Our focus is to provide a good web based experience. That goes for our website, documentation, forums and, when we are done with the UI updates for rFactor 2 itself also for the simulation and dedicated server. Adding support for third party (optionally paid) applications does not fit into that strategy. That said, what we will look into (just not right now) is the ability to add push notifications to mobile devices (and desktops). When we do that it will probably be available for everything we are working on, not just the forum.
