I have followed all the directions to create a dedicated server with no luck at all. I created the SteamCMD folder, downloaded the content and now I can't install packages. I ran mod manager and I can't get it to find my rfcmp files. I placed them in the packages folder in my rfactor2-dedicated directory and nadda. I've tried changing the paths in mod manager from the default (which doesn't even exist) and it still won't find them to install. I even tried creating that folder from the default and no luck. I've tried running them with the shortcuts created adding the +paths text and am totally lost. Can someone please help? Thanks
nevermind, we'll just use the hosting tool in the main rF2 UI since the server will just be a local PC.
Mod Manager is located in Bin32 folder. Open ModMgr from Bin32 folder and point Working Dir: E:\Racing\rfactor 2 -dedicated folder and Packages Dir: E:\Racing\rfactor 2 -dedicated\Packages folder and you are fine.
