So your getting an upgrade... I`m intrigued now... I`ll have those pics asap mate. (I know, I know... I said that ages ago lol but need 30 hours in the day these last few months )
Sorry missed PM mate lool Eat yours hardly Even if I had done a normal upgrade it would have been more like 4690K and GTX770 /CorsairH110 maybe and 16GB But the pcie 3.0 results got me thinking. I was getting close to upgrade time, want to get 144Hz monitor For more then a while now I see the value in stock Haswell and when I crunched all the numbers it made sense. Intel 4690@3.5GHz Gigabyte H97 Gaming 3 Corsair H90 and the Urban S31 lool which is what I thought you would find funny. All other parts are exisiting. Very happy with case, with 140mm H90 tower is dead silent even at load online rF2 and wont run 60C in Prime after 15 minutes. rF2 it eats the 2500K @4.5Ghz with pcie3.0 enabled, in everything else it feels snappier. The money I saved over say 4690K, H110,Z97X board and dear tower I can now get a GTX970 ( soon ) over a GTX770 Which means on balance I probably end up running comparable fps to you.
So... pics... sorry D I know you wanted to see the build but completely forgot about the pics lol... View attachment 17489 View attachment 17490 View attachment 17491
You really want to know why I like playing cops. ? I spent 2 years as a Cadet and wanted to be a forensic photographer but I really wanted to join the Highway Patrol. I was 6th in my graduation class but got told because of my Uncles reputation I would be overlooked and have to do general duties. I told them to shove it, wasted 3 years of my life. You can read about Uncle Fred here ... hehehe He was a hardman he and his 3 mates were the "Untouchables" lol I was 17 and stationed at CIB headquarters for 6 months, any detective heard my name just stared. lool
So... you were gona be a cop D... can`t imagine you as a cop mate but it`s obviously in the blood... pity you didn`t do it if that`s what you really wanted. The name maybe didn`t help though in some ways. Boy... uncle Fred was some man. That was a very interesting read for sure and a bit of an eye opener lol.
