Just thinking personally at this time with one HDD I would remove 2 of the bottom hardrive mounts as well and pack away with the middle bay.

It will only allow for tiny better airflow if anything.

case fans don't matter if they never started like ............. etc

should see a LED on the board light up and change numbers ,


get your finger on that DEL key to boot into Bios


straight to temps watch they will be higher to start will level out over os install period etc etc

LAST THING just triple check the POWER SWITCH wire on the FRONT PANEL is CORRECT

NOT PWR LED or wrong pins


blow manual up in foxit not hard to tell I count along pins to triple check if not colored pins lol

like gigabyte usually have red for power etc

32C idle on first boot CPU but he tells me no ambient temps yet :( hint hint

that will settle a bit yet.

sounds okay to me not knowing the cpu or cooler personally or ambient temp guys ???

Hot... well warm. Yeh I know it`s Scotland but it`s "summer" and it`s been really mild this last while... it`s warm deffo...

I`m sweatin lol (and that`s not just from the build haha)
 
numbers mate warm is above 20C for you ?

if so 32C at idle burn in sounds great to me

Hotter it is ambient the better

But 10c may be hot to you it is Scotland after all

Yeh mate 20c is hot for up here... I`ll get a proper thermometer today and keep an eye on temps both for the pc and ambient and get better numbers. It`d be quite interesting actually as it`s been really warm and muggy up here this last week or so, so I`d like to know what temp it actually is...

I`ll ignore the 10c/Scotland "joke" lol... :D

It's warm, but it's not quite sweating like a pig warm tjc, your're just too fat m8 :D

OK DD, I'll get on the train from Newcastle to Scotland , not too far :p.
DD, I don't remember doing any F11 when I build mine few weeks ago, thought that was for recovery discs?
My temps in bios 32-34c, but in Windows 23-25c idle. 43-45c under 100% load. Room temp 20c. Air cooled. No overclock yet.

F11 is the boot key for devices or windows install or repair

it is repairing because its AMD on a Intel


I suspect DJ you started with a clean drive so you would boot straight to DVD no matter what




Yeah Tj will be the same his will drop temps in windows.


He left his old operating system on. ( I told him to wipe it first ) and I told him to take 10 minutes to put W7 on a 4GB flashdrive

dont think tj has put the DVD in the boot list oir the PC dont see it ........ I asked him to check Bios for DVD he is getting back soon

or its not reading his W7

or the DVD plays up in a new system



I told him to put 1TB back into the AMD boot to DVD , delete C partition then put back in new PC

then windoiws cant boot DVD must boot if it don't you know the issue easy

Then you try old DVD in place of new one.

Both take only seconds to do both fast drive bays swap in minutes.



He still at F11 this morning no DVD boot and worrying about other stuff he should not, the DVD boot is only concern

lol DJ .......... tj says it boots too fast to see writing
