Load times indeed improved a lot. Liked new low light settings too. Good job.

Have you tried this values in in controller.json ????

    "Detect Rearranged Controllers":true,

Steering Wheel Maximum Rotation Default value of your thrustmaster profile wheel 1080 for t300 or 900 for TX

    Steering Wheel Software Rotation false

Steering Wheel Maximum Rotation from Driver false

i have corrected a couple of things. i have it this way right now and working. you can't loose anything trying

I have tired this from game, but have not tried from JSON yet. Maybe it will help, will try it next time. The desire to launch again is pretty low, and not so much free time.

I don't like the wheel rotation from software thing, because it interferes with driver, and then when you launch some other sim you find yourself with messed up rotation in that other game. It shouldn't ever be like that. IIRIC same happens with AMS, not sure if there are other sims doing this.

You don't need to edit the JSON anymore. It's in the UI.

That's the complete opposite of how it works. Software stops it interfering with the driver settings. Trust me, my T500 had that issue.

Again, a separate thread would have helped to make this whole discussion clearer...

I don't want to accentuate the offtopic, but just understand what this problem is with the @mantasisg T300 (I have a T300 and I don't feel like I have a problem, but maybe I am wrong ?) and the apparently identical problem that you had @Lazza with your T500.

    Thank you.

    Edit :
When I turn the steering wheel for example 90 degrees, it seems that my virtual steering wheel turns 90 degrees.

What it tends to do is change the rotation of your wheel in the TM control panel. So you drive a car with 600 rotation, exit rF2 and your wheel is still set to 600. Then you go to play another game that doesn't or can't change the rotation, but thinks your wheel does 1080, and now it's acting wrong.

So it's not about it having the wrong angle in rF2.

The only other thing I'd mention was someone recently having reversed FFB with their T300. Editing files didn't help. Changing to Software in rF2 allowed them to reverse the FFB polarity and have it behave correctly.

I'm actually thinking of biting the bullet on iRacing, just the FFB I know will be disappointing.

I still have an issue where Exaggerate Yaw would default to -80% when saving new file.

Move player.json somewhere as backup and let rf2 build a new one.

Does that fix it, does it?

*edit* Note: rhetorical question. But I'm careful enough to test again anyway, and yeah:

All fresh files, all profiles in Controller have Exaggerate yaw: 0.
    Fresh controller.JSON has -0.8. UI says 0.0.
Save a new profile: it has -0.8 (-80%). Loading this profile will give -80% yaw.

So, thanks for literally nothing. Worse than that, a completely blind and untested recommendation that only obfuscates the presence of an issue. Merry Christmas!

Yes, that's exactly the issue currently. All you can do is edit the saved profile and change the yaw value down the bottom from -0.8 to 0. If you make any changes later and save the profile again, you need to edit it again.

I'll test it again to be sure, but I think this can be fix by editing the file outside of the game and set it to 0. Then it should load with 0, but not sure if it will be reset back to -0.8 when the file is saved again. This I need to test to verify. But for sure...new file is saved with -0.8 and removing player.json didn't help.

Sorry, my post ended up quite long. That's exactly what I meant - editing the profile file manually. As long as you only load (edited) profiles, there's no problem.

For me it has fixed that issue. By the way, what is exactly your issue? Maybe you should see a Doc?

Hey guys what would cause my Thrustmaster T300 wheel to do this when the car is just sitting. I have tried all kinds of settings changes and if I drop the car specific multiplier down to 20 it stops but then there's no feel to force feedback.

    Thanks
