Thank you. I installed 12.6 yesterday and it runs...nice, I think. Not worse than the previous one at least :p
I just hope I will be able to run rfactor 2 with max settings some day. I dont think my system is that bad.

    Intel i5 2500k 3,5ghz
    radeon 6950 1 GB crossfire
    8 GB ram

Probably "only" 1 GB graphics may be the problem.

I have proved the last ones of ati but also I have proved them of windows 8 and it seems that they are better. It seems as fewer tartamudeo.a to see if someone proves them also .Yo I have win 7 and they seem to be compatible without problems.

Thanks for the heads up will check them out at the weekend hopefully.

Has the "installed version" bug been fixed? Currently got 12.4 but still states 12.3 in CCC, bugged me at first and I un-installed/re-installed several times before a google searched revealed the bug!

I just installed my new 7850 yesterday and what CCC says is 12.3, and been having all sorts of problems. If i do a fresh boot, go into RF2, i can get up to 100FPS with nearly all settings max, but sometimes leaving the track and going back to it, or another track, drops the FPS to unusable levels. Rebooting seems to be the only fix so far which is a real pain.

Might try the beta drivers and see what happens, thanks for the heads up.

I've tried Catalyst's "overdrive" but without any bigger improvements. I know the game is beta but some people seem to run it smooth on highest graphics. I'm tempted to buy a new card... like 7970 or something. I built my prestent system only 7-8 months ago for battlefield 3 (wich it seem to be a bit weak for, too, because of the memory).

If your comfortable using regedit, go in and delete all reference to ATI and AMD you can find after you have removed all the drivers in Control Panel. I cleaned it all out and th new drivers installed cleanly. I had that driver version bug a few times before, plus a couple other issues every update even with uninstalling the previous drivers first.

I do of course have an INTEL based system, so anyone running on an AMD platform may want to NOT do this.

So far the beta drivers seem to be working pretty well, no frame rate increases to speak of but it's noticeably more stable. Havent had the slowdown issue as of yet but havent done much extensive testing.

no difference really in FPS, feels the same as 12.4. Be interesting to see future release notes and whether theres anything related to RF2 in them!

In my system, I get an increase in FPS, not much though, only up to ~7 FPS. However, the usual first time stutter in T1 or T2 (in any circuit) is now gone.

Are these beta drivers fix the smoke bug with the meganne cockpit view?
I mean can you see the smoke through the windscreen of the meganne?
    With official 12.4, i can't.

Not checked, that maybe an ISI issue though.

Maybe, but apparently nvidia users are not impacted.
But if there is no bug with these 12.6 beta, i will make a try.

Hmm...I tried it and it broke trackIR: crashes the tir app when device plugged in or immediately if already plugged in. I guess I'm waiting for the WHQL for my HD7850...

I´m in 12.4 in a 6870 card. In CCC doesn´t have any update. I guess this driver isn´t for me.
