I could do up something quick for that to fill the void.

Sounds good. Are you going to fix the trees before a first release or put out an early version as is?

    Sounds like it's close.

Come on Mianiak put some good looking trees on the right place is not a big deal ;) . I'm sure one or two afternoons bam bam and the track is ready or ? :D:D
Of course I'm joking. Now serious thanks for the (progress) updates.
I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO DRIVE THIS BEAUTIFUL TRACK

I'll fix the trees first, otherwise it would be like giving away a car without the tires.

Robert, good call, makes that area look a bit more alive now. The Mundorf Tank was kind of lonely there by itself. (It's a bit bright, but that's easily fixed.)

Some tree WIP shots. They still need some tweaking, but I am starting to like how it's sitting.

trees? yeah. not bad. but who need trees??? color of asphalt and texture of asphalt - is awful, just the same as in every rf2 track (except poznan and few others)... the most needed part, but instead - trees....

Wow, those pics look excellent mianiak! I agree with Mr. Thor, it certainly looks ready for a first release, and I think we can all agree that the hard work you've put into this project is appreciated beyond what we can express with just words. Can't wait to give it a go.

Hi Maniak, as a circuit photographer (admittedly not gone for a few years) I think the curbs look quite unique, they have a very distinct look to them and the grass just behind. Similar at spa.

regrettably I don't have images from when I used to do this for Audi :-( else I would be able to identify each curb they do this, you can see it in sat images, iirc

But hopefully it is helpful they use it to retain the grass and mud just past the curb :) I guess :)

Infact, it's good you mention it, because as I was going through to get a screenshot for you, I realised I missed a few things with them.

You two guys have no idea what you did by bringing this up, I thank both of you because I was stuck on this for months. I had no idea what the material was called and all I had to go on was crappy low rez pics found on the web, I would spend days and days trying to get it looking right but was never happy with the outcome. But Jamezinho, you mentioned the name and I went straight and looked it up, found some decent reference pictures and it only took me a day to finally make that texture :D.

So yeah, a big thank you to both of you for making the decision to speak up.

(As usual with WIP pics I post, this still needs some tweaking, but it's good enough for a trained eye to see the important parts)
