Hello With a DirectDrive, FFB MULTI is very important, is it possible to block a value (for example 0.47) in the game? Currently, this is only possible with a car and a skin, if you change the skin, the setting is no longer good. Is there a solution? (json?) Thank you.
Open allvehicles. Ini with bloc note Use replace by function Replace all value which correspond to FFB multi (= all skins all cars)
Yep, pretty much the most efficient to do, just use notepad++ (you should have it anyway, must have tool), open all_vehicles.ini and use the CTRL + H hotkey to open the replace tool, look for FFBSteeringTorqueMult=1.000 and replace by FFBSteeringTorqueMult=0.450 (for example). It will update all vehicles you didn't updated yet. Pretty efficient, sad there is no way to do it withing the game actually...
Hello After doing the manipulation shown yesterday, my multi FFB value is 45000 % ! This is huge and dangerous and bad for my Simucube2. A solution?
FFBSteeringTorqueMult=1.000 correspond to 100% FFBSteeringTorqueMult=0.450 correspond to 45% FFBSteeringTorqueMult=450.000 Correspond to 45000% if im correct. You made a mistake somewhere.
I have changed every single occurence of "FFBSteeringTorqueMult=xxxx" with a regex to 'FFBSteeringTorqueMult=0.450', and that doesnt change anything. I am positive each and every occurence is fixed to '0.450'. When I launch the game, the FFB setting is still at 46995%. Isnt there a setting thats forcing change on launch ?
I never had this problem, did you make a backup? If not, maybe you have to delete the file, but the mods will reload I think, which can take a long time.
I saved the "ini" file and deleted it, made a check of the files and the game made a new ini with the values a1.000. But in game, it remains 49996....
You made a mistake, you used the comma for decimal separator, you have to use dot. Change 0,450 to 0.450 and it will fix it. If it is not the case, then I'm lost, it is pretty a straigthforward procedure.
In the controller.Json, the value was 496,95.100 times less than in the game, and now I put in this file 0.47 and it's perfect, and redoing the first manip with ctrl H in the allvehicle.ini, all cars are at 47%.
with the introduction of real time ffb multiplier in acc and r3e, now rf2 remains the only sim - except ams2 - to not feature this. the difference is though that with ams2 you can always pause the game and edit the ffb gain value during the session, while in rf2 the only way to edit ffb is to completely halt the game, return to pit and change the value. this is beyond ridiculous. anyway, knowing S397 I hope it will be fixed within the next 12 years or so.
ridiculous? OK, then I want to be able to adjust my wings on the fly. And brakes, I may not have put the larger discs on in the garage, but now I want them. PooF! Springs seem a little mushy too. crank those babies up in car!
yes, you want a feature that other titles have. I just didn't accept it was ridiculous NOT to have it and tried to demonstrate that with sarcasm. <but wouldn't it be cool to adjust your camber while driving? Who would think of that?> When a title brags about a 5 pt contact patch vs 12,000 and you want what those guys have.....ok.
This is what I was responding to: real time ffb multiplier in acc and r3e, now rf2 remains the only sim - except ams2 - to not feature this I read that as live in-car while driving. Still do.
