Does rf2 use multi body dynamics for the physics ?? Just read some one stating it doesn’t ,but I’d like to know for sure
I don't know what the term Multi-body refers to. But rF2 and all the ISI based sims have various subsections that compute individual areas like front wing downforce or undertray downforce. But multi-body? This would be for a Semi tractor-trailer or Lorry? Big Rig used for shipping on highways? If that is what you are looking at, I do not think rF2 was ever designed to handle that sort of physic computation.
I don’t really know myself,I just read on iracing forum that rf2 is archaic because it doesn’t use multi body physics/dynamics . I wanted to know more about this to see if he was spreading false info I think what he’s referring to is that all the cars mechanical parts aren’t linked and simulated in the physics. As I said not really sure, and didn’t want to conversate with that person as he’s a known ass hat lol
I think "multi-body dynamics" would be something that is used for suspension movement and steering geometry simulation.
I think is all there https://www.studio-397.com/2016/07/steering-system-forcetorque-distributions-and-some-little-bits/ https://www.studio-397.com/2016/06/ultrachassis-chassis-flex/
