Mountain Peak Speedway v1.1 Now Available

Hi folks,
We’re pretty happy to get this one out of the door! This track model was featured on one of the first preview screenshots of rFactor 2! We’ve brushed it up, got it looking OK (don’t expect quality of our more recent scratch built tracks), and now you can enjoy it! We think those of you who enjoy our Karts will especially love this!

The track comes with seven configurations (2 oval, 1 roadcourse, 1 kart oval and 3 kart roadcourses). You can download it from our tracks page. http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/tracks/
In others news, we recently moved Web host. While some of you may have only had issues for a day or so, it’s been hell on earth for us for a couple of weeks now! We finally (this past weekend) fixed an error in the Web site that came across randomly, and was very difficult for us – or our new host – to figure out. You will notice that there are no mirrors on the download page at this time, and a few broken download links across the site. We are working to fix those now (that nice download system was the cause). Thanks for your patience!

So, seems that after I was told to release, but couldn't due to the site issues, it went through other testing. v1.1 is the release version, and I'm now getting that uploaded...

The download link does not work

I don't understand why you don't make them , test them , then put them up.

Good stuff ISI, great to have another location and a bunch of layouts to boot. Looking forwards to the Stockcars now

 

Couldn't put them up when I was told to with 1.04 as the download system was causing the site to go down, and downloads to fail. Would be a bit silly to have done it. Between 1.04 and today, they found more issues, updated to 1.1, with me having no idea. That's pretty much what the post above yours said though, but re-stating might help, I guess.

Great. Looking forward to test. As mentioned in other track release threads it would be great to know how many pit/garagespots this track has. Maybe you could add this info to the track profile page

 

The oval for the karts is brilliant, thanks ISI.

p.s this road course causes so many crashes whilst braking very hard & turning off the oval into the infield section

 

Can't drive it atm but put 29 Celica AI. on the road corse. 1730pm. Looks fantastic.. Thanks ISI..

 

Haven't tried all layouts yet but road course is very good with Celicas

 

Awesome!

I tried the BT20 on the big oval, and the AI are painfully slow. I was 0.35 seconds faster per lap with the AI set to 120%, and forced to use my setup.
