Im just chucking this out there as an idea a mod or something, but with the physics in this game, the tire deformation and the hot spotting on the tires you could make one of the most realistic motorcycle race mods out there.

I am in no way saying this would be easy but i am saying as a fan of motorcycles this would be REALLY cool
    Does anyone else agree?

+1 cannot think of a proper controller for this, bikes need your hole body movement.

g7usl knows tons more than me on this. Any suggestions Dave?

I'm all for bikes IRL, they are fun and exiting, and some insanely cool racing can be done on them.........but xbox controller just isn't fair to bikes when we have such high quality wheels for cars, just play the cars until they figure out bike simming ;)

I can imagine sort of thing like they had on the playgrounds growing up, you know the rocking horses that were attached to the ground with springs..but with forcefeedback and handlebars + the other stuff

Dave, Jim or whoever you are ;) : Good suggestion, but 2 glued together are always better than one for Moto Racing :) : View attachment 3202

I can remember, about '04 or '05, there was a Motorcycle game out. I believe it ended with a version two.
Anyway, it was set up to use joystick. Forward was the gas, reverse was brake, with a modifier key reverse could be a "wheelie".
Of course while you were pushing forward for speed you could also lean the stick left and right resulting in the turning.

There were also other key combos to do tricks. It was kinda fun, as I remember it.
Come to think about it, the original F1 sim by Papyrus was set up the same way (joystick use), I think wheels were very few and far between (was probably '98 or '99). Those were the years I built my own rudder peddles. (to use with Red Baron) the version that came on two floppies.
