I am sure I have seen a YouTube video where the user had bothe the data and the replay from a race. How do I do this please
You have and it can be done, you need to capture the video yourself obviously. I've done this both by using shadow play while driving and after the fact from a replay. I found working from a replay did not work particularly well, but a live recording was fine. The trickiest part is syncing up the video and the motec data. Best bet is to have motec start recording as soon as you're in the car and then match where the revs pick up as you accelerate for the first time. Or just blipping the throttle once at idle, kind of like how you'd use a clapper board. In motec itself its just a case of loading up the track and then adding the video. Its tools for managing video are not exactly stellar though...
