You fail to understand the concept behind these conversions it seems.

Indeed, even though ISI was pretty specific and quite informative as to what the point of this release was.

"You guys"? Who are "you guys"? Are you the sole person not part of "you guys"?

    Double standards?

Why are you turning such a positive thread into a personal and negative one?

Because that's just what he does, I'm afraid.

One week he loves rF2 and want to shout it from the rooftops.
Next week it's the worst piece of software ever created and every other sim leaves it in the dust.
    Next week... etc.etc.etc.

It isn't a problem to raise points of critique.
It's a problem making everything so damn personal all of the time though.

He had obviously misunderstood what this Montréal release was about, and the whole thing about gJED.
    Then someone told him.
Then he turned it into something very bitter with his "SCE versus rF2" and "this community is full of hypocrites" nonsense.
Then this release thread went south, big time.

Next time, Dan, maybe look into the background of a certain release before you comment on it.
Is it a scratch built, state of the art, 2015 standard work of art?
Or is it an 8 year old track very quickly (a few hours) brought into rF2 to showcase the wonders of gJED, AND given to us to mark the 10 year anniversary of rF1?

Bingo, and the best way to treat people like that is to ignore everything they post. (Block list = kids on the naughty step, they can kick and cry all they like but nobody cares).

Back to topic, many thanks ISI and all that worked on this conversion. It's great to have more content.

You seem to be the only one saying the things you speak of.

Clearly we need to be so far up our own rear ends that we only ever release new content, remove old content after a certain amount of time, only publish screenshots that don't show faults, never have fun, never celebrate, etc. When other devs have actually been around long enough, maybe they can celebrate as well if it seems an alien concept to the community.

Old content looks older? OH NOES. People are absolutely welcome to visit this page and see the order (by visual quality). Don't use and ignore everything below Tiger Moth.

The very obvious fact that seems to be overlooked is that we're confident in our product. We've also developed our own product, our own way, at our own pace. Any comments about any of that started being shrugged off long ago, especially when it's served with cheese (that was a whine joke).

    Had to be said. :)
Just hope the hard-of-thinking ones are listening, not just those of us who get it already.

Is it just me or arent there any brake markers? You know 150 m - 100 m - 50 m? Its difficult to drive without them.

I see brake markers on overhanging signs. Not all corners have them; I see no brake markers for hairpin and final chicane.

Yes sorry they are in some places. Is it on purpose that they are not before the final chicane? I was just wondering because its really hard to know where to brake.

It's on purpose since it's a conversion of the rF1 Montreal, which has the same brake markers (and lack of).

Great conversion. Would anyone be willing to drop in a few animated marshalls?
