How can I get around the issue where I try to install a mod through mod manager but a few required files are shown in red and as a result will not let me install. I have these files except I have newer versions of them. A perfect example is ISI Formula Masters 1.0. It says I need a few tracks, all of version 1.2. I have these tracks yet cannot use the mod because my track versions are newer and it doesn't recognize them as installed.

Shouldn't the requirements be for "AT LEAST" X version number or higher? There must be a way around this. Thanks!

Yes this works in this case but not all mods get updated frequently. And the potential exists to break other mods if updating to newer versions of required contents (ie new track versions).

What I'm trying to see is if there's a way to force install a mod without needing the required contents. Since in my case I have the required contents just not the old versions it looks for.
