Hello, i'm trying to modify a mod on a dedicated and it doesn't work. I just add track with the MAS2. I add the track, then i click uninstall and Package and install. Everything works fine at this point but when i connect to the server, i get : The solution i use is to redo another totally new mod. What is the procedure to "update" a mod without redoing it all from scratch. Thanks.
Yes, today it looks like i have no other choice. Is this acceptable ? Best features are in details. Redoing all the selection of cars, tracks, setups is just really annoying. If only the dedicated UI was simple to use ...
I just created a mod to have multiple tracks and cars on a dedicated. I think we can call it a serie too.
The cars and tracks you are using (rfcmps) are situated in the packages folder? You are trying to connect on the same machine? Has anyone tried connected from outside your LAN?
I never have any connection issue. My test server is on the same PC i run the game but it works perfectly. Server is listed and at first creation of the serie it works always perfectly. Yes all the rfcmp used are in the Packages folder. Proof is it works when i redo the same config from scratch without modifying anything in the ModMgr.
I am unsure if I am understanding the problem. It works perfectly? What is the problem that is stopping it working perfectly?
When i try to edit the serie of tracks/cars and restart the dedicated server, i can't connect to it anymore. I was saying that the server works perfectly and is always visible in the server list so that it's not a connection problem but probably a "content" issue linked to the edition of the tracks/maps.
Yeah.... it's always best to create a FRESH rfmod (it's only a few clicks) making sure it doesn't match the previous in name (mod name or filename). If you have to have the have the same then increment the version number.
