I'm an aerospace engineer by profession and have worked in CFD with Mercedes-Benz. Despite 20+ years in the industry, my understanding of aerodynamics is still found wanting compared to some of the gurus in the industry. It is not possible for anyone to truly understand it without the appropriate study, tutelage and experience.
