Misteri di rfactor2

    Sono qui a discutere di alcuni misteri che mi capitano con rfactor 2.

    Non sono un modder vero e proprio ma ho spulciato parecchio rfactor1 e ho tentato di farlo con il 2 ma ho visto le stesse cose che trovavo con l'1 ma ora ho anche qualche mistero in più.

    Ad esempio l'altra sera abbiamo fatto una gara sul circuito di Montreal convertita dagli racerfactor.

    Mi sono trovato ad entrare nella sabbia e trovarmi impantanato e non riuscire più a venirne fuori.La colpa potrebbe essere del tdf o del mod.analizzando il tdf mi accorgo che è uguale a quello ISI perciò posso dare la colpa al mod da me realizzato e ci può stare.

    Ora vado nella pista che avevo nella sezione Locations del MODDEV per analizzare e poter sistemare il tutto.Entro in pista e mi accorgo che in alcune zone della pista la macchina scivola come se non leggesse il materiale.

    Attenzione non zone della pista dove c'era la sabbia che dovevo sistemare,ma zone dell'asfalto.Analizzo il tdf e la pista per vedere se ho fatto cavolate ma per quei punti non ho toccato nulla.Il materiale in questione si chiama Asph.

    Provo a compattare la pista e metterla in rfactor normalmente e funziona tranquillamente.Ora o sono rimbambito io o sto rfactor2 ha dei misteri che non so spiegare.Penso sia la prima....

    Non è che esistono dei materiali che usati nei tdf non vengono letti da rfactor2?

    Io vorrei domandare a ISI un'altra cosa.Perchè si ostinano a complicarsi la vita?

    Mi spiego: nei tdf ci sono mille modi di settare un materiale.Mi domando ma l'erba o la sabbia non hanno gli stessi effetti ovunque? Perchè ISI non da delle linee guida dove dice la sabbia dovete chiamarla pinco e dovete mettere questi valori,l'erba dovete chiamarla pallino e dovete mettere questi valori.

    Linee guida sui valori dei tdf non ci sono che io ricordi mentre secondo me dovrebbero esserci.

    Al di là del fatto che secondo me ISI ora come ora deve darsi una velocizzata e spingere su un certo sviluppo altrimenti la concorrenza li mangia,spero vivamente che qualcuno abbia avuto i miei stessi problemi e li abbia risolti.

    Mi pare che é proprio questione del nome del materiale, prova a cercare in questo forum che hanno già dato la risposta

    Ciao, credo che tu stia semplicemente dando per scontato che ci sia dietro qualcosa di terribilmente complesso, mentre in realtà la questione è estremamente semplice.

    Ciò che riporti è al 100% un problema di materiali e dovute nominazioni da richiamare nel TDF, ma le linee guida sono semplici;

    1) Il suffisso dei materiali (Asph, Road, Gras etc..) sono semplicemente un modo per linkare i materiali al TDF. Puoi usare il suffisso che vuoi, raggrupparli, cambiare e/o aggiungere diversi e nuovi suffissi. Semplicemente una sorta di TAG fra materiale e TDF. Sei anche libero di rimuovere tutte le sezioni che non richiami, e vedreai che alla fine starai usando 4 o 5 sezioni per coprire tutti i tuoi materiali fisici.

    2) Ricordati che se stai editando un materiale in max, il suo nome, i suoi settings etc, devi riesportare TUTTI gli assets a cui è stato assegato tale materiale, questo perché se vi sono presenti assets sulla scena che stanno ancora richiamando il vecchio materiale (prima del tuo editing), quest'ultimo non verrà implementato fino a quando tutti gli assets coinvolti non saranno ri-esportati con i nuovi dati (il singolo GMT ospita questi dati).

    3) Non tutti quei dati all'interno dei TDF devono essere maneggiati. Il 90% di quei dati è standard e non andrebbe toccato affatto. Gli unici parametri che ci interessano sono quelli relativi al grip, al consumo delle gomme, al livello di bumping e frequenze d'onda, o al sink quando ci si ritrova a passare da un asfalto ad un altro, per simulare lo scalino. Questi parametri NON SONO uguali per tutte le piste in quanto gli asfalti sono diversi, il loro livello di danneggiamento è diverso, le patch sono diverse, la granulometria è diversa, i cordoli sono diversi (vernice nuova, vecchia, senza vernice, materiale etc), la ghiaia usata nelle gravel trap è diversa (si passa da sabbia a granulato a ghiaia sino a veri e propri letti di sassi), così come le zone d'erba che possono essere sopra superfici "soffici" greando bump più ampi e molto scivolosi o, al contrario, zone d'erba su letti di terreno estremamente sottili che hanno un grip molto più alto e un bump con ben più strette frequenze, più simili alla strada che ad un campo da golf.

    4)Per finire, rF2 è un simulatore, non può permettersi di standardizzare tutto con delle sample normalizzate. Questo significa rendere le piste tutte uguali in termini di feeling, cosa che credo nessuno desideri. Semplicemente usa ciò che ti serve, in base al livello di dati che possiedi per una data pista. Se hai dati potrai editare, se non hai dati semplicemente usa gli standard di una pista simile e limitati ad una corretta assegnazione dei suffissi materiali.

    Ti ringrazio per la risposta e ti faccio presente due cose.

    Il materiale dove ho problemi si chiama ASPH ed è settato nel modo corretto.Solo che rfactor2 in ModDev non me lo legge mentre se metto la pista nel gioco e faccio singlepalyer va.

    Ora dovrei ricontrollare i gmt visto che uso 3DSimEd e potrei avere problemi con i GMT esportati.

    Altra cosa che io dico e chiedo a ISI una guida semplice semplice in cui mi dite Ghiaia= questi valori Asfalto liscio=questi valori Erba=questi valori Erba+ghiaia= questi valori Cemento=tot valori non potreste farlo?

    Poi se li voglio editare sono cavoli miei....ma almeno ho una base reale su cui partire.

    Spero vivamente che Voi di ISI facciato ancora qualche sforzo per poter migliorare alcune cose che altri hanno e che renderebbero voi di ISI superiori alla concorrenza.

    Basta aprire un qualsiasi .TDF di ISI e trovi una gran varietà di "preset" riutilizzabili.

    Esempio (ogni materiale ha una spiegazione all'inizio, si tratta solo di saper tradurre dall'inglese all'italiano);

    Convertendo tracciati (non esistenti ancora per rF2) e una mod con permessi vari (non esistente come le piste) ho notato la stessa cosa.
    Per la pista scivolosa si come hanno già detto è un materiale non assegnato nel tdf (ma facendo girare l'AI non si nota) , ma per l'auto che si blocca non è detto che sia la pista , ovvero una qualcosa nella fisica (HDV) della mod che ti fa bloccare l'auto quando sei fuori pista o se ci vai veloce ,prima salta e poi si impunta come se andassero in collisione le gomme con la sabbia o prato che sia

    In genere la vettura che si impunta è segno di valori non perfetti nelle linee undertray del file hdv, quindi, si, è cosa differente rispetto al problema della vettura che scivola che, come Tuttle ha spiegato, dipende dalle proprietà dei materiali della pista.
