it IS rather out of date. I'll get on it...@davehenrie hi mate, can you please add a section and screenshot to the first post for DLC? Now you need to get to it through Steam -> rF2 -> Properties -> Workshop.
Cheers!

even if you go through proprieties and Workshop it says hidden
what if you want to subscribe to it againYeah, you can't view them anymore. The purpose of this thread is when you have an issue with the DLC and you need to unsubscribe from them - you do that from that workshop menu. Clicking the item will just take you to the same 'hidden' page.
THAT? I do not know. I was originally going to write both unsub and resubscribe, but since I haven't done that, I, for once! Self edited myself. We'll have to try that soon.what if you want to subscribe to it again

When trying to join a server I get:

The first post solution doesn't work, because in Steam workshop list I have are no paid DLC to unsubscribe from. When I got to Steam login name -> Inventory I see my bought DLC, but when I try to click "View Workshop Item" I get the:
"The item is either marked as hidden or you do not have permission to view it."
Good thing is I can still play using DLC content.
How can I unsub from DLC (and re-sub after that)?
I've also removed all mods that might block DLC update.
Thanks, I will try it.
By worksop folder you mean :
Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Vehicles?
Unfortunately it didn't help. When trying to join a server:No, that's where rF2 (un)installs them to/from.
The workshop folder is here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\365960
Each car will be in one of the numbered folders. Searching the whole folder by name usually works. As I said, it's a pain.
Unfortunately it didn't help. When trying to join a server:

But it's interesting the server wants to install previous version (2.55) and I have 2.60 and 2.61. So I guess I have up to date content and just can't install older version?
But again when I go to my Steam Inventory all bought DLC are there, but when I click "View Workshop Item" I still get:

I will try once again with deleting whole folders instead of car's files.
OK, thanks for the explanation. You can't view the DLC workshop items. That was a deliberate change some months ago.
At the moment you can't get to them via the rF2 properties either, because of a recent steam change. I know Marcel is in touch with them and will be trying to work something out.
The point of this thread is reinstalling DLC when it has an issue. Your specific problem is probably something else (perhaps skins or upgrades linked to an older DLC version) and you should have your own thread for that.
Hi i have a listing for workshop but not DLC as in the pic aboveThere is some confusion as all the DLC seems to be disappearing from the list that would appear after following these steps. Not sure what is going on.
Here is a quick tour of where to go when one or more of your newly purchased DLC cars do not show up.
S397 changed the way you manage your DLC purchases, if you get the following error, here is what to do.
![]()
First just load Steam. Right click on rFactor2
View attachment 44534
Then LEFT click on the properties drop down menu
View attachment 44535
Then you will see another box, the last menu item is WORKSHOP. click on that, which will open a list of all your DLC, there you can unsubscribe single or groups of DLC.

The whole thing is strange. A Dev posted that STEAM had changed how they handle inventory and now we can hardly see anything. It is being looked at, but no progress has been reported. Perhaps a fix might come as part of the Q3 release. But that is merely a guess. You would think they would push out a fix like that without waiting for a Quarterly Release.Hi i have a listing for workshop but not DLC as in the pic above
I don't see my paid content using this method![]()
