Missing DLC Tutorial

There is some confusion as all the DLC seems to be disappearing from the list that would appear after following these steps. Not sure what is going on.

Here is a quick tour of where to go when one or more of your newly purchased DLC cars do not show up.
S397 changed the way you manage your DLC purchases, if you get the following error, here is what to do.

First just load Steam. Right click on rFactor2

Then LEFT click on the properties drop down menu

Then you will see another box, the last menu item is WORKSHOP. click on that, which will open a list of all your DLC, there you can unsubscribe single or groups of DLC.

Hi Dave, I'm getting an error msg saying: Aston Martin Vantage GT3 2019 v. 1.45 failed, requires unknown base mod.
Any idea what's up with that? Thanks!

Check if your Aston depends on a vmod of a league and uninstall the vmod.

Look in the root folder of rfactor2 / installed / vehicle / AstonMartin_Vantage_GT3_2019

I do not have permission to upload version 1.44, the only way is as it says above @davehenrie, or as it says @lagg, if it were you in a mod version of another league

The only Aston Martin in my installed cars is the GT1, and how would I find out if it depends on a vmod?

Take a look to the Mods in the packages list of your launcher.
Should be a mod downloaded from a server running the Aston.

ok I'll take a look, thanks so much for helping! Would I look in the Content "box"?

I found a few mods that had the Aston that could not be installed, I deleted them, still no luck, same error msg.

With your rF2 closed, go into your steam installation : xx:\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\rFm\ and keep only "All Tracks & Cars_10.mas" file in this folder (remove the other files in this folder) and try again to update.

Did you do the unsubscribe and re-subscribe already? That would force it to download the 1.44 version.

@Martin Joubert Looks like you may have a league mod that is based on an earlier version of the GT3 cars. You’ll need to contact the mod creator and ask him/her to update it. When it is updated you’ll need to uninstall/unsubscribe(depending whether it’s a steam mod or not) the current one, you may have to uninstall any vmods associated with it first.

Well I really regret I didn't check all the necessary details while purchasing DLCs on my steam account. I ended up buying the multiple same DLCs for 3 times because none of the DLCs are not showing on the DLC tab even after purchasing it 3 times. Probably is part of my mistake and I didn't check the game myself and allow my cousin insisting I'm did not purchase all the correct DLCs.
