Not really a bug with build 146, per se, but ever since I installed the C6R, I have been getting flickering mirrors, in EVERY car with EVERY track now. Doesn't happen the entire lap. Spec: AMD Phenom II 955BE (stock) Sapphire HD7850 OC 16GB ram.
HDR on or off? I have flickers with HDR on, also very bright mirrors, but when HDR is off, everything is normal.
Crisis averted. I had the Radeon drivers 13.2 beta 3 drivers. I tried the 13.2 beta 6 drivers, and all is well. In fact, I also get better framerate.
HDR seems to cause lots of trouble. How can you guys use HDR? I mean the environment looks plain ugly looking from cockpit view with HDR on (too bright and the colours are just wrong, with default profile...but there is not many custom profiles around?). Much better with hood cam, but I do not prefer it.
I don't use it because it is a huge performance hit for me. With 2x HD6870 i have around 100-120 FPS without HDR, and with HDR on I'm struggling around 50-60, yet I also have mirrors flickering and sometimes object flickering too. I will wait for some more optimization regarding HDR. Normally I would use it if it wasn't such fps hit, because without HDR 9AM, 12PM, 3PM all looks same, almost no visual difference.
