Mini Cooper S FFB suddenly broken/bugged

I have owned the Minis for a few weeks and they appear to have recently developed a defect in their steering or force feedback behaviour.
Until yesterday I have found them great fun to drive. Then I took a break from driving them for a week, as I had purchased the BTCC cars.
Yesterday I returned to the Minis, and as soon as I drive along pit lane, the moment throttle is applied, the car veers strongly to the left. They were not doing this a week ago.
No other rF2 car behaves this way.
I removed and reinstalled them, to no avail.
So I then removed and completely reinstalled rfactor 2 in an effort to fix them, but today, at least one other person has confirmed they are experiencing the same behaviour.
It can be reproduced - every track, every Mini, I just drive along pit lane and apply throttle.

Please can this be looked into, or, if there's any chance the fault is in a corrupted file on my PC, please advise how to find and remove it, as I've been scouring my pc for many hours trying to get rid of this problem.

I just drove them a couple of days ago and had no issue at all. Can you delete the car folder on installed/vehicles and then verify the installation through Steam? That would install the car clean again.

Unfortunately I tried all that - ended up deleting everything - UserData folder, everything in AppData, reinstalled rFactor 2 completely, but it still feels the same next time I install the Minis. Thanks anyway.
(I won't go into more detail here as there's already a full post on it in the general support section, but I posted here too in case any devs could look at it for a possible bug).

Did you participate on an online event? Maybe that installed an fmod you're still subscribed to, that would explain the problem persisting after a reinstall.

I just drove a lap in Teretonga out of curiosity. All defautl setup. Green track. Yes of course there is some torque steer. It is not that bad. I think I could adjust it a bit with setup, but it is not bad. It is a very good car. I just don't get it how it was supposed to be a flagman trying to recapture peoples interest for historic cars in rF2. I mean it is Mini Cooper, it is not Mustang.
