This track is my conversion, but this version 0.55 is very green. Currently it is much better, but still far from being finished.
Sorry, before I shared everything privately, but now not. Ask Guy Moulton and others like him, maybe they can tell you why.
Its your choice whether or not you want to share your work, but if you are not sharing it just because 1 or 2 people have annoyed you then its a shame that you feel that way.
If i understand, tracks are not shared because Codemasters conversions. The fix is easy btw ... convert rF1 tracks!
They haven't annoy me, it's just that I don't want that these conversions are eventually published here again. The offical conversions, like CTDP Bahrain 2012, yes, it will be shared, of course.
Codemasters does really well with the trackside objects as it does look exactly like driving the track, shame the road surface is so poor and completely flat giving the trasck no character at all. It just becomes a point and shoot with nothing happening until the next braking point where you just have to slam on the brakes as late as you can manage for a good laptime. Though this track was surprisingly flat and smooth when first layed down a least when driving on it at the 50km/h speed limit in a street car, it still had some character to the surface. These days it has got quite bumpy all around especially at the braking zones but though it looks pretty it just has no feel to it. Still nice to get some tracks and I cant see anyone actually going to so much detail with all the trackside objects in a scratch made track. A new road surface on this one and fixing the bugs would be quite a nice addition even if not exactly legal. Still compared to the tracks by ISI and some of our great modders this codies track falls quite a long way short. If only ISI would release all of their Rfactor pro tracks I would be a very happy simmer
I can understand well your opinion McNolo but it's too bad for some guys like me because I respected the rules and I was kicked from your forum as everybody Now nothing at all, that's hard ! See you.
I know that most of my forum users respected the rule of not sharing in public forums, but others began to share without control and happened this. Then, I tried to make understand who start publish here, but they wouldn't listen, so now I want to prevent it from happening again, and for that, I don't share. Sorry, but this is the only way.
