Yes, like that car, looking good. One thing if i can give some feedback is that crease on front side, seems too sharp, angle looks ok. Good Luck
Yes, cant resolve as i want, i try to close it first then polish, also must separate the body "plates" from the inner body. I like the tires, not so much the rims.
Nice... Any chance of some wallpaper size renders, clay and with liveries etc, when the modeling is complete pay? I`m learning to model (slowly ) and love to see nice renders.
A bit of friendly constructive criticism if I may? 1) The inside of the rims should be smoother, not so many poly edges showing. I don't know what triangle budget you are working with but you can easily use 80-100k (even though this car won't need that much) without having issues. LODs made later are used to combat FPS but shouldn't have any issues considering no one has complained about our 787B model. AC uses 130k triangle models just so you know. This doesn't mean you should try to use them all. You always want to try using the least possible but ensuring the models retains smoothness and quality as it should. 2) The calipers should be smoother as well, they can be seen from the outside via the external tv style cam when the car is going around. Along with the brake glow, you'd want that to be smooth. 3) Don't know if its me, but I think the tip of the front nose cone can be a bit smoother too. I don't know what you have planned for the car but one thing you can do is also make the front nose cone and wing separate objects so they can break off. That would mean you would have to model an inside area in order its not see through and you can also model the brake fluid containers and so on so there is a bit more detail there with the nose does break off. I cannot see wireframe so I cannot tell anything about the model topology, but so far its looking good. I'm just giving some friendly tips. What you do is up to you.
Everything you say is correct, really is my first fórmula car, I always model characters for tv and movies. The noose gonna re do, and the body have low polys, then I start the caliper and I think "Ill do the way I like braking the rules" , always nobody put the suficient detail there, so i gonna do it. Im in holydays this week, so back 1st december to work with the beast. Thanks, I feel honored for your reply.
No problem mate, my pleasure to provide info. I'll keep an eye on your progress and offer any advice I can if I see anything. Keep up the awesome work mate!
