Released McLaren Historical Racecars!

Tried everything, but I can't get auto shifting to turn off on the MP4/8. It's off in the settings, but when I go out on track, it starts auto shifting. I even press F7 and cycle through until it says "auto shifting off" on screen, but the car still auto shifts?
 
How is the mp4/8 compared to ASR mod ?
the ASR mod has many skins for a full grid, and physics were awesome from reviews.

The McLaren MP4/8 was a Formula One racing car which competed in the 1993 season. It raced in all sixteen Grands Prix, scoring five wins. The engine was a Ford HBD7 3.5 V8. Thanks to a watershed use of electronics technology that cars used in the 1993 season, the car was designed by Neil Oatley around advanced electronics technology, including a semi-automatic transmission, active suspension and traction control systems that was developed in conjunction with McLaren shareholder Techniques d'Avant Garde (TAG).[1]
 
Tried the mp4/8 and mp4/13 on new Zandvoort and Sebring respectivly, and what a blast ! They both feel and drive awesome.
The latter is really tricky for me as it spins easily on corner exit (no aid enabled) and I usually drive slower cars.

How do you think an official car is compared to a mod? Try it and find out.....
It has Liveries...well different colours anyway so yea we can race! :p

You have to turn off autoshifting from the "general" tab, while on garage.
This worked on my side ;)

ist me or the Mclaren mp4/13 has lots of understeer, i can take at full speed many corners that i take at full speed with all others cars
 
I though AMS retro f1 was awesome this blows anything and ALL away !! ffb sweet , the car at the limit is scary and I don't know haow they raced these in real life... true f1 drivers!!!
 
Thanks! I have yet to download the cars, but from the screenshots I have to report that the helmet position of the Mp4/13 is all wrong (you made it too high, while in reality neither Hakkinen nor Coulthard covered the air scope, and too tilted down). It makes my favorite ever car look weird. Hopefully, that's easily fixable.
