mas files

I found a track that I would like to install. However I believe it was for rfactor1 and all I can find are mas files and some other files.
None of them are in a format that can be installed by the mod manager. Is there any way that I can install these or do I have to learn how to package?

you need to learn how to convert rf1 to rf2 1st

 

You have to rename the file to .rfcmp so it can be installed.

 

Thanks for the replies. Guess I got a project on my hands. Never done anything like this before, so it will be a first. I found the transfagarsan highway in romania, and that is what i'm trying to get into 2.
