I am trying to replace the car shaders in nascar 0.52 mod so car shines more. I have edited the car shaders and then saved them back to dds,I use the mas tool open the mas file that has them in there and cut the old ones, and add the new ones,And then I save as new mas, and the mod no longer shows up in game. I would like to know what I am doing wrong please are maybe someone could replace the 3 files I have edited for me. Thanks for any help

you can't just edit the files and repack the mas. You need to remake the rfcmp file. If you remake the rfcmp then you'll have a different version to the original and get errors when going joining online servers.

@larry24 That don't works anymore in rfactor 2.
Editing a mas file means to corrupt the mod.
You have to repackage it, but you loose online compatibility then.
Watch this video, it's a bit older, but should still give you the needed informations.
    Edit:Nibiru was a bit faster. :)
