have anyone a Idea how the rcd file is working? how I should called it? my rcd file called "CART 1985 Road" and here is the content: CART 1985 Road { Kraco Racing { Team = Kraco Racing Component = March 85c Skin = alt.dds VehFile = Andretti_Road_99.VEH Description = #99 Michael Andretti //Classes = CART 1985 Road //Category = CART 85,CART 85 Road,Kraco Racing Number = 99 Aggression = 0.56 Speed = 0.58 QualifySpeed = 0.10 WetSpeed = 92.19 StartSkill = 0.00 Crash = 0.00 CompletedLaps = 100.00 MinRacingSkill = 0.38 Composure = 85.42 } and here is the veh file from Michael Andretti, for me it looks all ok or not? Number=99 Team="Kraco Racing" PitGroup="PITGROUP_UPDATE_ME" Driver="Michael Andretti" Description="#99 Michael Andretti" Engine="Cosworth" Manufacturer="March" Classes="CART 1985 Road" FullTeamName="Kraco Racing" TeamHeadquarters="England" TeamStarts=394 TeamPoles=39 TeamWins=35 TeamWorldChampionships=2 Category="CART 85,CART 85 Road,Kraco Racing"
I know there are some minor inaccuracies, both with the skins and model. Using parts from the model as reference points, things could appear bigger. I also adjusted some to avoid lining up seams. The #76 Canadian Tires logo in front of the cockpit is the biggest one of this. Is there anything really sticking out to you? I could adjust but I'm pretty happy with how everything is turning out. If I do adjust, it will be after the grid is nearly complete. Admittingly I'm going more for quantity of skins than quality. Looking at the Indy 500 list, @Chief, we may need the Lola sooner than expected LOL! Adding in djvicious list, my completed list with the #14 Foyt, and the #20 and #40 Patrick cars as WIP, and my #44 and #84 Gilmore cars as WIP, I count 6 Marches left for the Indy 500 field. I would suggest those. I think all of them have a road course version as well. 9 Colombia Roberto Guerrero Team Cotter 11 United States Al Unser (W) Team Penske 21 United States Johnny Rutherford (W) Alex Morales Racing 37 United States Scott Brayton Brayton Racing 43 United States John Paul, Jr. (R) AMI Racing 55 Mexico Josele Garza Machinists Union Racing There is a lot more for the Road Course versions and one offs. I'm still getting that info together.
Damn... there was one at the IMS Museum. I honestly thought it was an '86, but I guess it was an '85. If I knew that I would have taken more pics It is part of the Mario Andretti exhibit. There might be a few high rez shots on the internet due to it being there. I also took these but I didn't take a pic of the plate to confirm the year This might come in handy as a base? https://www.deviantart.com/sfreeman421/art/Mario-Andretti-s-1985-Indy-Car-227347729 I'll keep an eye out for anything else.

I haven't looked too much into the reference Lola pics yet, but from what I can tell, it would be one body.
I don't have much experience with rF2 yet, but I spent many hours trying to figure out how to make my RCD files work. I finally got it to work for my personal IMSA pack. Here is how I think yours should look. It should be called "CART 1985 Road", as you said. CART 1985 Road { Michael Andretti { Nationality = N/A DateofBirth = N/A Starts = N/A Poles = N/A Wins = N/A DriversChampionships = N/A Aggression = 70.0 Reputation = 80.0 Courtesy = 80.0 Composure = 80.0 Speed = 85.0 QualifySpeed = 87.0 WetSpeed = 76.0 StartSkill = 70.0 Crash = 5.0 Recovery = 80.0 CompletedLaps = 90.0 MinRacingSkill = 72.0 } } By the way, great job guys! Keep it up!
Thanks. I'll make some adjustments, but I don't want to spend too much time on it. I'm tired of looking at orange, and I have two more to do yet, with even fuzzier reference pics . It was hard as the car was different between, practice, qualy and the race. I only just recently found a few good enough pics in race trim. I also need a better Copenhagen logo if anybody has one? I think I'm at 110% scale the way it is, and I don't have the patience to make one.
I haven't started the Indy version yet. I haven't figured out what the race stickers on the red striping are. Your welcome to do that version if you know what these are, or do without them. I can give the driver suit a shot. BTW, I have this:
Thanks for the logo help guys! I updated the Foyt car slightly. That's pretty much going to be the final version.
In the development color pic does the car body look compressed, scrunched up, not long enough ??, best way I can say it.
Don Whittington Bruno Giacomelli Any tips for getting the stripes smoother? I feel like my method is a little jagged
the curve over the engine cover seems elongated on the photo as opposed to the 3d image. I know they are not exact angles of reference, but that would indicate the 3d model is shorter than the car in the photo.
