I know I've been vocally critical of Studio397 recently but this is a positive step. Seems like this update includes a lot of things that people complain about.

Maybe it's time to knock the dust off my project folder and breathe some life back into the Mustang

Gave the update a quick spin and everything seems to be working fine. It's really nice to see that the autoexposure is working finaly as it should and I hope the new features in the UI are a sign of what's to come in regards to new functionality that needs to be incorporated to really make the new UI a big step up compared to the old one. This is the stuff that really gives people the incentive to use it. When they finaly fix the structural issues and add all the nice little features that are hidden in the json files it'll be a no brainer and really show people what's under the hood.

Great update with the environment maps refresh rate. I hope you can look into the car lods and shadows, that would be brilliant.

I am also still getting stuttering in the full screen replay in the UI, can you tell me what you mean here, where are these and do I literally delete them, the game replaces them If I do? Thanks.

Its all in the json file...

"Hold Brakes#":"When you enter the vehicle, hold brakes until it is shifted out of neutral",
    "Hold Clutch On Start":true,
"Hold Clutch On Start#":"For auto-shifting only: whether to hold clutch for standing start (to allow revving without moving)",

What is this, i clear bush shaders, set in game settings to environment reflection ultra, msaa 4x, only opponent detail, shadows, rain on high, blur optimal, everthing is ultra otherwise.
Nurb with 42 gtes and lmps2, the cars return to yellow all and taht blue halo on replays

Are you using the 'release candidate' UI? This is chosen before you launch rF2. In steam, click on rFactor 2. Preferences, BETAS, Release Candidate

What is the approximate time before a release candidate turns into a public release?

I'm in the same boat. Stutters haven't been fixed for me on the RC. On the regular build, it's completely smooth.

Could you explain what you mean? Are these just folders that I delete?

In the userdata/log folder you should delete all the content inside these two folders, cbash and shaders. Apparently it didn't solve your problem anyway.

All good changes, hope they fix the erratic AI throttle behavior some day.

Didn't know this, tried today and the difference is stunning indeed (and on hdd not on ssd) cut most of my loading time by half!

Great update, thank you Studio 397.

Is it just me or am I seeing little "bits" being thrown into the air every so often? I never noticed this before o_O
