Make Historic F3's Great Again!

Don't need to do anything other than having the content and joining.

BTW all, last week there was a late track issue that meant BB had to change so this week he is sticking with Brianza 1960's.
Nice! Is there anywhere schedule and links?

Look for the server: !F3 Fanatics! The schedule is not published but the races are every Saturday at 1600 (4 PM) Arizona, US time (2300 UTC) (11 PM). Practice session at 3 PM (10 PM UTC) for 30 minutes followed by 30 minute qualification session. Then a 5 or 7 minute warmup and then the race, at about 4:05 PM Arizona time. The server is normally up all week for practice. The content should download from the server if you do not have it. We try to use only content available in the Workshop.
(I think I have it correct; any regulars feel free to correct me)

Yay! After months and months, thanks to mel1c, I am able to post on these forums. Not under my original name "Bryan Birtwell", but then I couldn't post any longer as BryanBirtwell, my second name here. Studio-397 says there is a bug in their forum software....

Anyways, the F3Fanatics! server is serving up Toban raceway, this weekend. We're running the
short "clockwise" version of the track.

This is JUST 4 FUN! So, if you've never joined up, the server runs only the one track we'll be running that weekend. The "Weekend" starts at 3PM Arizona time, that's -7GMT, UTC, whatever. 3PM Phoenix time. And, if you don't have the content, no worries, the server will happily serve it up!

We're running stock Spark and EVE F3s.

Hope to see you all there!

Bryan

Correction!!! This race, every race on the F3 Fanatics has always been, is now, will be for the foreseeable future be on Saturday Afternoons 3PM -7GMT or Phoenix time.

Unfortunately due to rF2 numbers I had to jump ship to "elsewhere". I'd be back in a flash if there was any sign of a resurgence. I really don't like "elsewhere's" physics....;)

Perhaps if you stuck around, other players wouldnt jump ship because there are few players.

We're at Kazan this weekend. Lots of altitude changes, blind corners, all the things that make a track fun to drive.

It came in a package that said "Just add Drivers".

Looking forward to seeing you all on the track today!

Practice starts at 3PM -7GMT. 3PM Phoenix time.

They were long gone before I left. Stuck with the game since release all those years ago. Been with the Fanatics for 8yrs and it's been fun but the numbers have slowly dwindled down to almost nothing. Unfortunately it's over and unless rF2 has some life injected back into it I don't see the point.

Yes, long gone, each one with a reason to leave.
Your reason appears to be that there was nobody their, so i will move onto the next big thing, for now. The new thing will quickly become the not so new thing so time to move on.
I know you have been around the Sim for a long time, i also supported Gpl, Rf1, Gtr2, Gtl i still do.The numbers of supporters is not as it was but still they continue to make many people happy. Contributing to the database cars, skins, physics, tracks, textures etc this adds another level of interest.

Last weekend went well here.

During Quallie we had 8 racers in the server. Some came and went, we actually had 12 individuals enter the server during practice.

For reasons unknown, the race ended up only having 5 racers. I don't get it. Why qualify and then beat feet? I digress...

I thought I had taken screen shots of the end of Quallie and the Race, itself. I heard the camera sound, but no new pics to be found.

I looked at the replay, but it doesn't show the times... Strange. I've never watched a replay so I didn't know...

Anyways, that was last weekend. This weekend's event brings us to Malaysia's Southern Loop and I'll see what my screen shot problem is all
about and get that rectified before we run Malaysia so that I can post the results along with some screen shots. Maybe I could even be convinced to watching the replays, taking action screenies, and posting them. Let me know what you think.

Even with low turn outs, this is still the best game in town (IMO), as far as having good combos that are easy to enjoy... Maybe encouraging those on the other SIMs that the F3 Fanatics are worth giving a shot! Or a "go", as some of you would say...

Anyways, It's nice to be able to post here again... and, I hope you guys give me something to post about, this weekend coming up!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening,

Yesterday's race didn't go well for me. My driving was bad enough, but I pitted to get rid of flat spotted tires, figured I'd wait for the other drivers
and catch the tail end. Well, just as I was done telling the crew chief what I wanted, the power went out. Monsoon season has started in Arizona!

So, I have nothing to report on last weekend's event. If one of the other participants would/could, please post them!

This weekend... I don't know what to expect, it's the USA's 250TH Birthday Celebration this Saturday and I don't know if that will change anything other than I'm not going to work that day... : )

We're at Road America this weekend and were driving everybody's favorite car... Yup, the 200HP F3 EVEs! I thought that would be appropriate.

Although, off line I was racing around Crystal Palace 1969 and found myself grinning from ear to ear.

Let's see if we can do what this thread's name implies and make the 'F3 Fanatics!' great again!

Hope to see you guys there this Saturday, July 4th. 2026 at 3PM -7GMT. Phoenix time.

Well, to everybody living the US of A, Happy 250TH Birthday!

Yes, there is a race today! We are running modified (and it's more than just the engine) 200HP EVE-F3s! Fun for all! Tons of liveries, quest's cars as well as "Regulars" (the original F3 Fanatics!) to choose from. And, we're running them at Road America.

No prizes, just fun to drive cars on a challenging track.

Hope to see you all there!

Bryan

Howdy Race Fans!

Yesterday's event at Road America, went well. A few more drivers would have made it more interesting.

I forgot about taking screen shots during the race. I did take one, 4.5 laps into it.

Don't be bashful. We lost a lot of slower drivers a while back. Come on back and give slower guys like me someone to race with.

Thanks for the read, hope to see you on the track! BTW, We're at Hockenheim Short this week and we'll be at Crystal Palace 1969 the following weekend.

2026-7-11 Hockenheim
2026-7-18 Crystal Palace 1969

That's as close to a schedule as you get around here... Unless, enough folks join the races, make suggestions... and see the changes. We've run an actual 10 week series... Twelve years ago, but I'd be willing to do it again.

'Nuff said... Hope to see more join up.

Here's a couple sceenies from yesterday.
