The T280 is a wild ride. Just the way we like them....
I'll google the T260 and have a read.
I haven't driven the Lolas yet, I'll try and jump on this week. Could be fun
The T290 is pretty tame but the T280....not so....
and a big plus is you have to shift properly. Don't and you will get the clutch slipping like crazy.
Didn't make it. Had a busy Saturday and stuff to do around the house Sunday, still contemplated jumping on for a run but after 5 mins I couldn't find the Lola on the workshop so I gave up.
Was going to join you as well and did some laps on Friday - fun cars. I was able to have the cars download from the server, no problemo. What sort of times were the racers doing? Are there replays of your races, posted somewhere?
Will try to join you next Saturday. I'm up in BC.
Not sure what is happening atm. Bryan hasn't been around for 8 days now so I'm getting a bit worried. Server wasn't set up for the race so we didn't end up racing. I'm putting up a lan server with the Dattos until I hear from Bryan.
Sorry this isn't a happy piece of news. I have spoken with Bryan today and unfortunately his health has taken a devastating turn. He is in hospital having his right foot amputated due to a culmination of problems. He will be there for 8 weeks and then he'll probably have a long period of rehabilitation. He seems in reasonable spirits considering. He has downloaded TS to his phone so I will be speaking with him soon. I will keep everyone informed as I know. Keep him in your thoughts.
Sad news indeed. Wishing him all the best for a successful treatment and strong recovery, look forward to seeing him on track again one day.
Same as Lazza ... my best wishes and that n message of encouragement from all IsR's
I'll pass those good wishes on as soon as I speak with him. Thankyou to all at ISR.
I'll pass that on to Bryan as soon as I speak with him Lazza. Thanks for the thoughts mate.
Thanks for checking up on him, Paul. My warm thoughts and healing energy sent your way for a successful recovery, Bryan.
Thanks for the update and I wish Bryan all the best on his recovery.
Will pass that on mate, thanks.
Thanks for the info, Paul. Pass along our best wishes and thoughts.
Quick update with some better news. Bryan is scheduled for surgery tomorow morning from 6am (Arizona time) and his doctors told him today that he will lose toes but they can save his foot. As you can imagine he's pretty happy about that. I sent him a get well ecard with everyone's posts from here and SR4L. Might catch him tomorrow depending on how good the drugs are they give him.
Once again thanks to all for good wishes.
Typical Bryan, his first thought when the doc gave him the good news was, "great I can still race"
Bryan has asked me to look after the server until he gets back. He will email me all the details tomorrow or next day depending on how he is feeling after the operation.
For this weekend I'm going to stay with what's on my LAN server. Datsuns @ Phillip Island. As soon as I can I will update the main server with the same. Thanks for every one's patience.
It's not looking like the main server will get updated in time for this weeks race. I'll leave my server up and see how we go.
Server name - !!! Datsun Fanatics
Hmmm, having issues getting Steam to connect. Anyone else?
Google says it's not just you.
