I dont know whether my built pc is supposed to be running on all low/off settings in the graphics to get stable 60fps with ai cars around and multiplayer. Compared it with the recommended settings, looks fine. specs 8gb ram nvidia gtx 750 1gb i7 4790 3.60 ghz b85 pro gamer motherboard monitor is 1920x1080, 24 inches launcher settings are no vsync, no fxaa, lvl 4 AA, and the nvidia card selected. other games can run fine on med-high (ams, gsce, pcars) iz frustrating
Hi there! This is a non-Ti ? Then you have to dumb graphics down. Low settings and max level 2 AA I would recommend. rF2-graphics-engine is very hardware demanding. Nothing you can do about it. If you feel that you can´t live with low settings, better get a refund. By the way: If you wish to use AA then turn FXAA on. It is the more effective way as far as I know.
Pro-Tip: Set player and opponent-detail really to "low" as it does nothing else then use a lower poly-count, what you usally can´t really see. Go then in Player.JSON and overwrite player and opponent texture: "Opponent Texture Override":3, "Player Texture Override":3, "3" is highest setting, so maximum livery-texture quality. But beware: 3 could still be too much with 1GB VRAM (depends on number of opponents) -----> just do tests with it. Set number of visible vehicles to a low number like 8 or 10. This does a lot when running with other cars, but the drawback is that you have to live with popping up cars when you have more opponents than the given number. Shadow quality and Sun occlusion are the most important settings to let the game look good. Do the rest of the settings so that you can run both settings high/on. SunOcclusion you also find in Player.JSON under "Graphic Options":{ Use AutodetailFPS at ingame settings and set it to 48 or something like that. When FPS still drops for some reason, game will fix it automaticly while driving.
Thanks, I did try what you said, now its much better. Im not really a pc expert, so, what is my pc lacking? good graphic card? cpu? etc.?
I don´t want to open a discussion with you, but "at least" is really exagerrated! You can do just fine with a 750ti in 1080p (one screen) and like always it´s a matter of how much money you want to spend. (750ti is what I would call "at least". 950 is also good bang for buck.)
Not really. If you want under 100FPS with low graphics, then fine, but ideally you need to be playing this on a 120/144Hz anyway. It's pretty clear his GPU won't run near that with high graphics settings.
Why the heck you need 120/144 Hz???? OK, is better than 60 LOL, but absolutely NOT necessary! You can run high/full settings on 60 Hz with a 750ti. In this case it is a fail to set your personal preferences as necessary standard. If your game isn´t smooth with 60Hz, get you a proper G-Sync monitor!
FYI Sun Occlusion was moved under Soft Particles (in game UI option) in a Build so changing the player.JSON entry does nothing.
