Hello Guys. In development, don't you do performance testing? I'm part of a group with almost 500 "drivers" and the vast majority complain about stuttering, especially in VR. Note that it happens in the online menu itself and it seems like a bad feature of the game. But that's not all, the FPS drop is constant on many tracks; Ex; At the end of the straight at the Nurburgring there was always terrible stuttering there. Please optimize the SIM so that the community can grow exponentially. Before anyone says it could be a configuration, mine is very reasonable and I have the same problem: ryzen 5800x3d - 4070 ti - 32gb ram - ssd 7000mbs
There is a stuttering issue reported by users running fpsvr after the latest update of this software was deployed that might be your case as well
Wow, a group of 500 drivers using VR. I'm wrapping my mind around it. Since I guess the hardware will be varied the problem might be in the software. I'm guessing they're sharing their configurations, json file settings and the like. Also companion software, VR software or virtual assistants. The issue could lie there.
I use VR, Reverb G2, even though I was getting a solid 90fps there would be the occasional stutter. I moved the installation to my SSD, still stuttering. I then eventually went through all the accumulated crap that windows was loading after 3 years of installation. Inc rubbish originally installed. Uninstalled and really cleaned up the PC. Made a world of difference for me, no more stuttering. I think this SIM would be well suited to a clean format, fresh windows install. After trying near all Sims, I'm tempted. Clean system, RF2, AC and RBR, nothing else. I remember booting Crammonds GP2 via dos prompt to bypass the windows 95 bloat. We were computing on gas.
I had stuttering in VR too Both with Q2 and Pico headesets and actually in any Sim after lot of troubleshooting it ended up that Fancontrol app I am using was the culprit Talked to developer and found out a set of sensors was triggering the stuttering routed GPU temp to another sensors set and problem solved monitoring tools are a killer
