Lost ton of fps with DX 11 with titan x (SOLVED !)

I run the 11 items in the studio 397 workshop set for dx11 and the game runs great. Triple monitors 20 cars everything on full but shadows on med. MSI 1080x card, z270 asus motherboard. i5-7700k. 100fps constant.{10 cars 150fps}. Any third party tracks or cars drops fps alot as they are not setup for DX11.

Could you put up a screen shot of your settings fella?? Where do I find out or how do I find out what fps I'm running at?? 60htz is all I can see in the settings lol.
(Sorry mate, I'm a complete RF2 noob)

Yeah I'm sorry to complain but...
- went from massive high FPS 100+ everywhere, all conditions, x16 and maxxed settings to:
- low 40s everywhere, all conditions, x8 and med/low settings

on top of that -
1. every single barrier glows with excessive bloom
2. there is slow downs with bigger trackside objects, even with circuit detail turned down
3. there is shimmering/bursting in many many places
4. there is horrible low fps in the server screen until you change screen from 'standings' to garage or something else. then it suddenly becomes OK
5. there is no real visual acuity improvement in most places, only huge amounts of bloom
6. the tonal balance...i mean...does anyone remember ISI releasing earlier and having this issue? then they fixed the tone maps etc? because, the sky looks wrong, the barriers glow (lol), the cars look too bright, the colours elsewhere look washed out. everything's either too much blue or too much green.
7. For goodness sakes the BLOOM. Can we please get rid of this? it's absolutely utterly ridiculous to see trackside barriers literally glowing with light rays coming off them. Goodness knows what this does to VR users with CV1 and vive. They must be getting punished.

this to me, is not a good update. I'm rolling back. This sim is all about smooth FPS and if you can't improve the graphics while keeping things smooth, then don't improve the graphics.

for what its worth, this is on an overclocked 1070 with a high end i7. the same situation with my secondary sim rig which is an overclock 1060 on a 4.6ghz fx8350.

both machines have the exact same visual problems and terrible performance. Roll back...

If the car/track hasn't been updated according to the DX11 guidlines then they will look "wrong" (with much bloom). Did you read the news post about this update? It should give you an idea of what content has been upgraded so far.

Now if you really want to help Studio 397 with this beta, perhaps you need to be more specific of problems and post bug reports (so others can recreate the steps of the bug) in the appropriate section of the forum. Stamping your feet and shouting will achieve NOTHING. You were always going to take a hit in FPS as effects have been ADDED to the sim, which come at a cost of gfx card and processor time. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what is going on.

I've also just realised that I haven't even seen and adjusted the Post Effects... lol. Ill get on it now.

Edit - I don't seem to have this so called "Post Effects" drop down menu?? Can anyone shed any light on this???

Its also saying I'm running windows 8 as you can all see???

The post effects aren't on the in game UI.

Check the launcher

Its on Steam fella... Described as Black Edition UI by team GSV. Simpy subscribe, then pick it in the settings. Job Done!
Woodee - youre a legend, I had no idea about this little menu.. lol. Thank you Sir.

Nah like Woodee said, its not in the in-game UI.. I checked all of them, its in the launcher video settings. Ive just stuck mine upto Ultra, see what I get.

Ultra Post Effects being used... Fulll detail in everything. THIS GAME LOOKS FRIKKIN EPIC!!! Big thanks to studio-397... I'm loving this new update already. The blur!.... wet pants!!

The only issue I have is this...

This blooming is only visible in the showroom... when actually racing I don't get any of it... lol

Gonna do some proper racing now me thinks. Thanks for the help lads.

I guess @carrera.4 needs to update his showroom :D

Although, most of the showrooms I have installed are rather bright (and have been before the update!).

I get an improvement on using ultra on my radeon 9770 edition, but still only get 35fps
additionally anything with reflection is overly bright and overkill

Any tips from anyone else that will help? on dc9 I was getting a solid 60fps (v-sync'd)

cheers

Delete or rename your player.json file, wrong settings come from there.

I went from 20 fps to 70-100 fps.

Can you elaborate on that please mate??
I've tried all 5 showrooms that I have installed and they all do the same thing. BUT - From certain angles, the white doesn't bloom no-where near as much? Is this anything to do with the sun itself maybe???
This is the Honda BTCC viewed from both sides. A considerable difference as you can see.
