Lost connection message after a few minutes. Have set rF2 connection settings as per my isp speed test. What else can I try? PH
So this is all servers (or multiple servers), not just the online system - where it also happened. Correct? What sort of connection do you have? To your house, and inside your house?
I am a new rf2 racer. I had no online issues the 1st few daily races and Ford v Ferrari server racing I tried. But then I got 'lost connection' after a while on track, on all servers I tried. I have a 25Mbps download/ 10.4 Mbps upload, fibre optic connection. I am downtown in Montreal, Canada. I have zero connection issues in AC and GPL online.
Breaking news! My building is getting all new fiber wiring starting tomorrow. Tenants are being asked to make our apartments available to Bell technicians starting tomorrow morning. I will test online when they have completed their update. PH
Ran a short test on Ford v Ferrari server and got 'lost connection' very quickly. Ran on several AC public servers for hours. No issues whatsoever.
Dec 14 PM connection tests : Connection lost after 30 min. during a 59 min. practice, as an unregistered racer @ Zandvoort in Rads. No apparent reason for disco. Got back on server; it still showed my lap times before the disco. Connection test considered failed! Off to race online in GPL LoPeN. Bk later to test rF2 connectivity. PH p.s. Bell techs have yet to work on my apartment. No change in my ISP = Bell Fibe 25Mbps
