Hi guys, Lately I'm looking for another monitor since this one is broken. That was an Samsung sync master 2333SW. Now it's a good time to go a bit bigger So I found this for instance: LG Ultrawide 29UM59-P What I found out is that specs are almost the same, so that should be okay I guess. But; this new one only has a HDMI connection. Since that is "pretty common for TV's" (maybe I'm old fashioned) that doesn't seem to be the perfect connection to play the game on, is that right? I'm thinking lag for instance? By now you will have noticed; I'm not really into this kind of things But if I need something else than this; what do I need to look for? I know response time is important, so 5 ms or lower should be good........but other things? Can someone "enlighten" me a bit on this subject? Thanks in advance!
Not really into the techie monitor stuff, but I went from a 60hz to 144hz G-SYNC monitor and the difference was like chalk and cheese, I’d recommend going higher in the hz department, just make sure you graphics card can utilise it.(I had a 980ti when i first got this monitor) This is the one I have; https://www.pccasegear.com/products/34212/acer-predator-xb271hu-qhd-144hz-g-sync-ips-27in-monitor
