Howdy woochoo, Don't forget to make it usable with "Get Missing Components" so that I can use it on my server. If I can help with that, let me know. I think it's the use of special symbols that IsI doesn't like... but I'm not sure. Thanks, Bryan
Hi Bryan, yes, i have a salient message on my to-do list instructing me to not use the square brackets I'll go with underscores I guess. If that's not the problem, I don't know what else would be. I know... I want to get it done ASAP

Obbzy one of the senior members over at my community (and also lives in Tasmania) found this rare and special clip of Longford in 1964. Shows what a great job woochoo is doing Enjoy
Thank you, Nibiru & Obbzy. Yes, woochoo has created a masterpiece of history for us Merci beacoup, woochoo.
That '64 video has been very useful to me over the last (nearly) six years You'll notice a couple of small changes in the track from '64 to my '67 version. - The hump before the pub was shaved down before '65, following Tim Mayer's death during the '64 weekend. - I have a suspicion, without any hard evidence, that the hump before Long Bridge was shaved down a little too. That's only based on an interpretation of a few period photos, and what remains of that abandoned road, where the hump is very much reduced, but I can't say what year. - The exit of Newry Corner had additional tarmac which continued a short way, up to the original road width. By '67 the whole section of road was changed to the new width, as well as some other sections (in the rF versions, the lighter tarmac is the newer tarmac). - Apparently there was quite a bit of money invested in the roads at the time, purely because of the races, and it's been said (somewhere) that they were some of the best roads in the whole of Tasmania. And that's why there aren't any cracked/worn patched of road in the rF1/2 versions, though I think I've picked out a few tarmac replacements from the reference material, and those are in the new version. - The control tower had a wing added to the rear, which I've been told was a media area. - The pit building was extended for more 'garages', i think sometime between '64 and '67. - I think a few houses from the town had been demolished sometime between '58 and '68 too, though I don't think there is much to see of that area in the video. I've been doing the finer detailing of the terrain with the new shader recently, and after that and a handful of other small tweaks it should be ready.
Can't wait for this. The attention detail you are putting into this, sounds awesome. Thanks for the update on what's happening.
When you release the update version of this mod, may you please post it in the rF2 TPM (Third Party Mods) section (link near the top)? . I'm really trying to get this going. Until in-game auto-downloads work perfectly and consistently, I think the official TPM download section will really liven up the mod scene if we can get that website section's momentum really going
