It's not in the URL on my machines. Most of it is... then there's the nagging "..." in the middle of it. So, for the average computer user... It's totally useless. Glad I checked here as well as first post. As my avatar suggests; I'm not your average computer user and it still through me off, not being a "Mega" user. : ) Thanks again for the most immersive track I've ever run! Looking forward to the download finishing on my home machine. It's already up on my server! Bryan
Thanks Bryan, link posts have been amended to include the key as text. And thanks for your support in hosting the track
I added the track to rF2 Rank and changed the current track promotion on the front page accordingly. Thanks for all your work! Uwe
Thanks for you support also, DEV NEWS: I've scratched up a new AIW file (last one was just an edit). It still needs some tuning but hopefully it will solve the online grid problem. I'll probably do a couple of small/quick updates to other things as well, just to make it more than an AIW update release.
Only tried this track for the first time tonight.....wow, great work. Nice textures and the track has a lovely ambiance.
Woochoo, just wanted to say thanks for your work on this track. By far IMO rF2's finest track graphically in terms of atmospherics, really feels nice to race. It has so much detail that possibly goes unnoticed by many but i find it very immersive. It's perfect for those Howstons I think only Mores from ISI gives me that atmospheric feeling really other than this, that has great ambient sound etc round the track and nice lighting. Other tracks look good but don't have that atmosphere that these two have.
Thanks for the compliments guys I hope to have v0.92 ready within a week. It's mainly for the new AIW which will hopefully fix the online grid problem, but to make it a more worthwhile update I've made new detail textures for the road surface which looks a fair bit better now, I think. That will be about all for v0.92. If that goes well then the next update will take a while and should have some fun stuff in it like some 3D trees and some better building models. That's the plan anyway.
That's great to hear. I think the trees closest to the track edge will definitely benefit from some 3D models.
