Hi there, Played AMS2 for a bit and loved Long Beach. Didn't love the AI which are blind murderous bast**ds. So, I was wondering, is there a good version of Long Beach for rF2? I found one over on ISR (http://www.internationalsimracing.com/forum/index.php?topic=2152.0) but that is very out of date. Is there another better one out there? Ta

If you are looking for a modern version for rF2, the closest is the iDT rF1 conversion. There was a WIP previews of an Assetto Corsa conversion, which is based on a certain main stream game, but it hasn't been released. It's been a WIP for like 3-4 years.
I wish S397 would bring us a Modern LS version of Long Beach ... I love the flow on this track. I fire up PC2 once in while just for the modern version.
I seen this clip a while back... not sure which version this is from but it looks decent. But looks like just WIP or personal conversion.
Thanks, I hope someone will also improve the current day version of the track as I believe it is not DX11. Now that iRacing and AMS2 have this track, us RF2 drivers cannot stay behind
I started building a new version of modern long beach a few months ago, but it´ll be over a year before it sees the light of the day. And given rf2 has the indycar license now, it may or may not be worth doing a version for rf2.
Slight correction, Monster Games has the Indycar license. S397/rF2 will only be providing some of the physics. Unless somebody ports the track, I'm fairly certain it will not be usable in rF2.
I´ll have to search for the thread, but the document explicitly stated that both monster games and rf2 (or s397?) had the license
Yes, the license is supposed to allow for a stand-alone game and series races in rF2 which means they'll need to have tracks and cars in rF2.
Long Beach "track" pavement will be fun to watch at this year's IndyCar race. The base is in pretty rough shape.
