The dissatisfied would not be satisfied with such a combination anyway. If it were London ePrix + horse races, then the retrogrades would be ecstatic.
Rather surprised at this point that more people have not made an issue of the announcement that possible S397 no longer has the Formula E license. This means, maybe, no more tracks, no more esports, and probably not getting the Gen 3 car?? I'd say this is a pretty big change. Or am I misreading it? The other way to interpret it is that Formula E no longer has a licensing agreement with Monaco, and hence, its had to drop that track only.
The track we have is the short version, they now race on the full length track. Maybe related to that? PS @burgesjl I was also surprised this wasn't explained or queried already, but my apathy overruled my curiosity.
"The other way to interpret it is that Formula E no longer has a licensing agreement with Monaco, and hence, its had to drop that track only" It is this
I love this track! Its like half indoor kart track, half tight street circuit! And its very Very London! Bit of feedback for the devs. Formula E cars get round here just fine apart from first two corners, they sometimes turn early (i say sometimes, every race ive started so far) and hit the inside wall on the first lap, after that they seem to be ok for reast of race. Caterhams are bloody brilliant here, navigate track like pros! I did'nt think this would work but, I tried all the same. Unfortunately I was right. Don't bother with the GTE's around here, absoloute car crash! So I think (especially with the actual FE cars having problems here), the A.I. for this track needs a little tweaking!
Further to this, I think I may have found the perfect combo to suit petrolheads with this track. This little monster was made for this track, its fecking awsome here! (skip to 57:31 in video)
Any chance the 2015 - 2019 Formula E layout could be added to Circuit d'Azur, so that those of us that bought it can still race it with those who buy d'Azur? Also can the 2021 FE layout with the tightening of the second half of the Nouvelle chicane be added to Circuit d'Azur also?
Any plans to add a layout without the chicanes in the middle of the track in order to bring it up to spec for current seasons? Also the grandstands could be full not empty during quali/race sessions, they were in real life Otherwise a very well done track.
Not sure, the track was made by Formula E, usually everything Formula E related is done in partnership with them, if they want the latest version, then it would probably be done.
