Lola T280 by PIXSIM [WIP]

+1 and are there not LOD issues too or is this rF2 issue? Yes I know the LOD issue was worse and improved in latest version but I am still noticing issues albeit less severe. Still best mod in rF2 but sad if left incomplete, especially when this is the only mod with this issue. I guess we'll see...
 
If I am remembering correctly, before the last update, they said there would be no more. Maybe they will have pity on us once more with another last update.

Maybe uninstall then reinstall. I just checked mine and it was fine.
If I remember right I got the files I have now from andy's post 3 or 4 above yours, but he's deleted them as of 8/24 (why?).
 
Yesterday I had a blast of a race in this magnificent piece of machinery.

One and a half hours at Tiger Moth R2 against 29 AI at 107 percent strength. Unbelievable amounts of fun was had, be sure of that! :)
 
We got toooo many tracks and tooo many cars nowadays. We seem to be racing poor. I sure pity us, not enough hours in the day.
Aren't we a mess.
 
Sorry I have not read all 25 pages of this thread but are any updates planned for this mod? Unless I don't have the most recent version, it seems like there are bugs with LOD, sound, AI and virtual mirrors.

Afaik there was a major update some months back (Andy_rsrf's above link) and after that they said that maybe they would release a more recent.

Personally I would like very much them to release Matra 670 they said they were doing, and I was always hoping they do at some time the whole 1972 season, 312PB, 33TT3 etc.
Or just Le Mans 1972 grid ;)
 
Hi there, i boldly took the initiative and slightly reworked the LODs, the maps, graphics in general, mirrors, some sounds tweaking, repackaged all-in-one single package, including sounds and talent file. No physics were adjusted, i didn't wanted to wreck the mod more than i usually do :))) I take no credits for it, all goes to PIXSIM. Uninstall previous version(s). If you want, give it a try. If you see this as a herecy, skip the dowload link :)

Thanks PetraGTC and Pixim of course. I discover again this great car, really challenging for a "sunday driver" like me, but so intense! I know you didn't tweak physic, so I should begin to be not that bad than usual, as I was able to do several laps without spinning. Lighter on throttle,violent wheel correction, skidding, really heartbreaking and fun!, this car is spot on! :)
