Each time I boot up the game, I have to manually enter my login name and password, how can I get the game to save these please?
Don't worry (yet lol) you're not the only one with this problem. It seems we're still getting the after effects of thursdays's planned server migration. Seems to be taking longer than expected, bit like rF2 itself.
It's a bit strange. If you tick the "remember me" box the launcher creates the rfactor.credentials file. Next time you start the launcher the file will be deleted.

Same problem here, log in is not remembered between sessions. Something must have gone wrong with this server move. Work-around is probably fine for now, but we shouldn't have to mess with the files in the .rFactor folder. On the same topic, if I log in in the purchase tab, I'm recognized, but there is no way to see my account details. The only two choices are "Activate" and "Purchase". EDIT: After snooping a bit, it looks almost like if the login fails, since the server connections quickly disconnect. Server SSL certificate issues perhaps?
Just in case you have missed this thread Barin. I needed to download and install the Launcher for it to save my password.
