Logging Out-of-Realtime Physics Freezes [public-test]

This is from last Nights Pocono race. Two times other drivers said my car disappeared, the second time the other car hit me. That indicates that physically the car is still there, just not visible. On my replay my car does not disappear and at the time they say my car disappears I have no indication that something is happening. Any cars in front of me there is no change in there pings, no stutter.

I am troubled by the phenomenon that only I freeze for a few seconds at the timing when the person in this race lost the connection from this year. Of course, from other people's point of view, I'm the only one who can get out of the place for a few seconds, and then he suddenly comes back as if he were re joining. This can also be a major accident on the tanima server.

Haven't heard boo from anyone, I would really like to be able to race. I don't know what causes my car to disappear intermittently when there is no indication on my end. No ones ping changes, no stutter or micro freezes. I would really appreciate some help on this.

 

Maybe start a new thread as this doesn't sound like it's related to the thread title. Maybe it's network related, I haven't had this problem.

Had crazy stutters during the VEC test race today. Never had it that bad before.

 

2 days ago, I catched disconnect lag at least 2 players in my server.

I've had issues all weekend trying to solve my stuttering/freezing problem. The CPU will sit at 50-55% usage and then randomly max out. The GPU green bar is at 45-50% usage.

That race was two months ago. Some pro drivers were disappointed with rFactor2, Kentas and Ryuichiro_Tomita combined due to a glitch in rFactor2. Apparently it happened when someone left the server.

Brookdale 10/27/20 had several screen freezes during practice and three of them during warm up. Did not have this problem until build 1122.

Today in the competition System i had stutters every 3 to 5 seconds or so.

Would like to know if there is something i can do to prevent it from my end. Only thing i changed recently was the new build on the new UI, and i enabled +trace=2.

 

Last night on a race. We had server freezes at every driver's deco. From 1 second to 3 seconds. This was not the case before the new build.

Hello, I don't know if it will help but I am writing here my experience with this screen freeze problem.

In my case the screen would freeze every so often during the race, in online mode it produced the famous jump back, my problem was that I had a very slow hard disk and the game when recording the replay on this slow hard disk produced that the screen was frozen, I just had to deactivate the replay recording and the problem was solved. Later I bought a faster hard disk to be able to record the replays and with this hard disk I have no longer had the problem.

I don't know if it's something that was already known but just in case I've written it here. This happened to me years ago, I don't know if the method of saving the replay has changed.

 

Today at Vec race I had a jump back effect, I lose 5 seconds per lap. The cpu was at 50%, also the gpu, the fps was perfect and the ping at 65.
What could be the problem?

Sorry for asking, I want to check before i start posting stupid stuff, im new here.

I had freezes where, in my offline race (single player+ai), I would freeze, game would continue, i would see my time delta be added by the length of the freeze.
Meaning, I freeze, race is actually going on. Even the AI catches up. If i had a 5 second lead, freeze for 1 second, id have 4 seconds lead.

Does this belong here, or is it a different issue.
