As the title say. Is there a way to lock the LookAhead parameter in the player.json file? Because everytime I choose i new vehicle type, the value changes.

Are the values locked to the vehicles or in some master json config file?

    Cheers,
    Michael Hansen

Weird, my lookahead has stayed at 0 for years now.

Im sorry, maybe I should have clarified. I try to change angle manually. When I set the Look Ahead slider to 100% in Controls, the JSON file goes to 0.2. I then try to change to 0.5, but once in a while (seems when I choose a new kind of vehicle), the value reverts to 0.2.

Maybe the json setting reverts back to default if you touch the slider in-game or change controller settings or something?

I not sure about all cars and tracks but if you use mods different look ahead settings are retained for each mod even if 2 or 3 of them run the same car.

Mirrors and seats you can save by car as well not sure about mods.

ie: swap back and forth between 2 offline mods set at 0% and 100% look ahead, they will not change.

Anything "in-room" menus offline should save.

Thing changes for me is FOV..... ie: if you have not saved seat position mirrors to cars.

I suspected that was the case, the question remains, how to change the default setting?
