I believe you have to be using the Dual Dials HUD (in Customize), and then while driving hit 'Enter' (by default) to switch screens until you get to the tires.
i notice a live, responsive number which i must assume is a temp, but the entire data screen is gray, and the only color i get is when i get severe damage (red). I must also assume that the live 'rolling' temperature colors are still being worked out (we saw this in the rFtrainer at mills video)
It's a bug. Sometimes the live tire data on the hud works and sometimes it doesn't. It seems random to me.
Thanks, I just found it also by setting the "Driving aids" toggle button under the "display" tab in controls.
I have the same problem. Tire temperature display sometimes works properly, sometimes it doesn't. (ATI 6770, drivers 12.1, windows 7, gfx settings: full, HDR off)
I wish you would stop using this video to suggest tire temps are "ok". Look at the rate of temperature decay in this video compared to an rF2 video and you can clearly see it is not "ok".
I don't think the temps are exactly "OK" if I can do pretty much full braking from 250 km/h to 80 km/h, and if I just keep the brakes from locking up, the front tyres actually get cooler while braking, same thing with rear tyres when accelerating. But the fast changes aren't that off, tweaking needed if anything. If loading the tyres caused them to warm up I think they'd cool at a pretty realistic rate already.
